Indeed gentle friend S-Man, that is the problem.

For the first time we are pretending that the Constitution doesn’t exist, or if it does, that we amended it to allow America to be a police state.

Fellow citizens, a moment of silence for the Fourth Amendment of The Constitution of the United States of America.

It went far before it’s time, and unconstitutionally.

Here were its last words:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Gentle friend MurphTheSurf3, I agree with your definitions of evil, and believe I expressed them in a more global format. But if I did not, thank you for clarifying them.

And I did not advocate abandoning our political structures, I just said that we should not automatically pledge our allegiance to any of them.

As for specific plans for implementing “A Grand Challenge”, the first step will be holding a meeting with as many compassionate world leaders as possible, and developing them.

Only the first two sections are political, but so far that’s all anyone has commented on.

Starting at “Mirror” it is a fantastic plan, for the future of all humanity.

I understand gentle friend Nirek, and agree that Obama is better than Bush.

But sadly we still find ourselves at the mercy of a surveillance police state, and laws that allow those in power to simply point there finger at you, declare you are a terrorist and guilty, and have you imprisoned forever without trial or representation.

Gentle friend, we fell so far, but just slowly enough, that many do not realize that the Constitution no longer applies, unless the highest of authorities allow it.

Gentle friend EXFANOFARIANA,

I understand your anger and disappointment with America. And I share many of your feelings. Certainly we had a history of hypocrisy, corporate imperialism, and illegal government activity before 2005.

But “A Future of the Brave” is about how a modern US President had declared that he was omnipotent, and how we could get from one of the lowest points in American history, to a brave new future for all humanity.

It is already so long that I’m afraid most will not read it, and I could not possibly preface it with a further history of Americas mistakes and crimes.

No one is coming to save us. There will always be those who hate. There will always be those who fear.

But there will always be more that are compassionate, and overcome their fear with reason and hope.

So do I gentle friend MurphTheSurf3, but sadly without Democrats it couldn’t have happened.

I voted for Obama.

I cried for hours when he was elected.

But then, he not only refused to investigate Bush/Cheney and all their accomplices for war crimes and treason, he actually embraced, defended, and expanded their unconstitutional programs.

I was stunned.
