Even though the right won’t admit it, too many are using some form of it. Whether pre-conditions or children on policies longer, or got a refund, too many are using it. I don’t think they would ever let it go completely or at all now. Once it is experienced and benefits realized more, it ain’t going away. Yes, Vermont is a testing ground for single payer and I am glad that is the state. People there will work to make it work. VT is an independent state. More states will try it after they have seen some results from VT. When that happens, investors will start pulling away from Big Medicine, ie: hospitals for profit, etc. (Legalizing drugs will have the same results on for profit prisons) Oh, it won’t be easy just like the tobacco industry. When investors see that returns won’t be as great, they pull away. Personally, I can’t wait for more and more states and other countries to demand GMO labeling. Once that happens, good-bye industrial farming. People will still eat that crap but no where near as they are now. Hello, small local farming and produce! There is a connection here with universal healthcare because take away the for profit and more will come out on how much of this stuff in the food and water is causing autism, thyroid and other cancers, and other conditions that have escalated in the past several decades. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California’s political watchdog agency has announced the largest fine in its history for campaign-reporting violations and ordered two political action committees involved in the 2012 elections to pay the state’s general fund $15 million.
The California Fair Political Practices Commission on Thursday called the two Phoenix-based groups that will pay the $1 million fine “part of the ‘Koch Brothers Network’ of dark money political nonprofit corporations.” The reference is to billionaire brothers Charles and David H. Koch (kohk), who have given millions of dollars to conservative causes across the country.
The investigation and settlement between the state and nonprofits, to be filed in Sacramento County Superior Court, stem from an $11 million contribution last fall to a California group that was fighting a tax initiative and supporting an anti-union one.
But, my laptop was starting to have problems because I was using it all the time. They told her that with all I do on my computer (like the Funnies) a desk top (all in one) was better. Hubby is happy because now he gets the laptop all to himself.

As you said, anyone speaking up and acting out on the treatment of the people, better be careful. Our police are military trained. Oh, and those that say get a gun…..they will always have more and bigger against you. Of course we need the police protection and I am not taking anything away from that. But, even they can make mistakes (deadly ones) on who the bad guys are and that those marching are marching for them, too. They train for the days to use their weapons and sometimes get way too anxious.
I just hope that now that the baby is in the system, this poor family won’t have to go through more hell in getting the baby back!
