I suppose one could characterize Brown’s current state of political affairs as a Lack of Moral Imagination, however a closer inspection finds him instead to be a Feckless Ideologue.

feckless: adjective
lacking initiative or strength of character; irresponsible

ideologue; noun

an adherent of an ideology, especially one who is uncompromising and dogmatic.

The disappointment in Brown is not his self-discovery of issues when they are visited on him or his family, it’s his inability to think on his own, gathering his moral, ethical and political self from his Party instead a strong sense of self or community.

It has become a strangely collective, pathological position for members of the Republican Party born of graphic ignorance and the clinging to superstition rather than reasoned through science, or reality even. This, my friends, is your Republican Party, the lapdogs of America’s Oligarchy.

Sadly there’s no cure owing to a dependence on cash which has replaced any sense of morality though they claim to be the party of Family Values, Wholesome America Values which are strangely absent from their Party’s Platform.

America will not be truly safe until they are all placed in captivity where they can do no harm. Please, Americans, let’s shelter these morally-challenged creatures where they may flourish together and at the same time, do no further harm to our beloved country.

This reminds me of a story:

One day a man left home to go to work and one of the neighbor boys was giving away puppies from a new litter. The sign said: “Free Republican Puppies.”

The same scene played out for the next two days. On the third day the word “Republican” was scratched out and replaced by the word “Democratic.”

The man just had to know why the little boy had changed the sign, so he asked. The boy explained, “When the puppies were born they hadn’t opened their eyes yet. Now they’re old enough so that their eyes are opened so now they can see.”

What’s so sad about you posting this, Jack, is that you actually thought you scored some points against the Left.

The continued deluded nature of the Right, vis-a-vis the fact that NO policy coming from the Right since before 1980 has benefited the majority of the citizens of the United States with the exception of the Reagan tax increases, forces you to defend doctrine, policy, and legislation that doesn’t even benefit you.

The Conservative oligarchy in this country calls Republican voters who are not in the top 1% of the earners in this country “useful idiots” because they continue to vote against their interests fueling the redistribution of this nations wealth upward.

Studies show that many working class and poor Republicans vote for those who nakedly favor the wealthy because they think that their voting for Republican candidates is ensuring that privileges for the wealthy will be around when they win the lottery.

As for the Iraq War, remember, the Bush administration lied about absolutely EVERYTHING in their proselytizing for an invasion. They essentially fomented America’s first war of economic expansion in the history of the Republic, and even that was a lie; we received no economical offsets for the war, just a $2 trillion initial hole in the Treasury that exploded until the election of President Obama.

So, your out-of-context quotes in the service of a Republican lie really have no traction here. Thanks for trying.

John McCain has reached his dotage.

He was a drunk when he served as a pilot. He destroyed five aircraft while NOT in the service of combat. He was miles off course because of a hangover when he was shot down, and subsequently captured.

He has sold out and flipped on the issue of the use of torture on prisoners of war, this even as he cannot raise his arms any higher than a Tyrannosauruses Rex because of injuries suffered during his crash and capture.

He’s a dissipated old man who suffers psychological issues based on the humiliation of being one of only two men who have lost to a half-Black POTUS candidate in the history of our Republic.

He further put the country at serious risk choosing a vice presidential running mate who was, at best, twice as stupid as Danforth Quayle.

The fact that we hear anything from him at all is because of a mainstream media that is complicit in the crimes Conservatives have visited on our country in the service of propelling this nation’s wealth to the top 1% of earners (and I use that term advisedly).

As just short of being an FBI profiler I have to point out that statistically, the vast majority of ills committed in this country, to this country, are committed by older white men.
