This morning’s topic was Hate and the middle segment was about Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish. There are some who walk among us who are truly heroic. In spite of their suffering and the terrible things they have witnessed and experienced in their personal lives, they manage somehow to seek the path of goodness and righteousness in the best sense of those words. Dr. Abuelaish is one of those people. I stand in awe of anyone who not only will not hate but manage to find love in their hearts for those who hurt them. I was going to try and write an article about this but it would take me too long to figure out how to do it and I wanted to share his story while I am still caught up in the emotion of it all.
