The More You Don’t Know

Your dog is a beauty, did I ever send your photos of the “J” gang?

Don’t get me started, they are so vain, so demanding but I love them when they sleep.

The problem with my kitchen is that the counter space is so limited that the contraption I need to filter the tap water would leave me with only a foot of space for preparing meals. Our kitchen is the smallest room in the house, I often wonder how I manage to cook 3 course meals there sometimes, it’s magic.

We pay about $35 a month, a lot cheaper and less thrash compared to buying cases of Evian about 20 years ago.

Let’s put it this way, the water from our taps smells just like the water we flush our loos with.

Years ago I would order mineral water whenever we ate out, if they brought a glass of tap water, I knew it without tasting it and always sent it back or had them open the bottle at the table.

They are beautiful but I would have to go with cats, large and small. The gang made me say that, not really. 🙂

😆 I know all about having to lower yourself like a crane believe me, they do it so much more gracefully than I ever could. I adore them, they have such beautiful, trusting eyes, most animals do, and those eyelashes, wow!

About the bottled water thingy, we are guilty as charged because where we live the tap water smells and tastes really bad too. We order 3 x 18 liter bottles each month, they are huge, heavy plastic things and are sterilized for reuse so I don’t feel that bad about it.

Maybe in your area of Tokyo, the water quality is better, here even my easy going hubby won’t drink it.

😆 Poor giraffes, if I don’t get my 7 hours a night, I need to be put in a straightjacket. Is the divorce rate high in the giraffe community?

An Intolerant Truth – Reduce Global Flaming

Plant a Birther sounds like something I might be good at. All of my plants survive on a mixture of rotten egg shell in water. The pungent sulfur aroma should prepare them for the place reserved for them after they leave this earth.

After the recent 9/12 march on Washington, the CO2 levels rose to new heights.Observed from a recent satellite photo, a huge yellow cloud was discovered hanging high over the capitol, described by experts as a methane gas explosion mixed with a so far unidentified substance. Beware fellow space travelers and remember to wear your helmets and rubber gloves!!

The White Elephant in the Room

I suppose what has shocked me to the core is that they have become so visible, knowing about it and then actually seeing it up close and personal are two different things. I was shocked, disgusted and alarmed by the whole spectacle. Apartheid 2009.

I intend to keep the faith and know that the majority of Americans don’t think this way and after spending two years commenting, listening and learning on American blogs, watching your President win the election, I’m not about to give up hope now, you know that too.

I know of course that it’s the ignorant racist minority AdLib but that doesn’t alter the fact that they have been allowed to rule the coverage of your msm. That and the fact that there is so little opposition to this, makes me wonder what the others are afraid of ?
The most vocal criticism came from President Carter, it is wonderful, but where is the outrage?
Only on the the internet as far as I can see and of course we know that not everyone has access.

Yes your country did well and showed the rest of the world how anything is possible, what has been happening since, taints it unfortunately. I am concerned about the violence this could lead to and hope that it never happens, it would be two steps back, no many more steps back in reality. You know that I’m rooting for you and your President, all the way.

Like you LuluMay, I have had to step away, I just can’t deal with this at the moment, it has made me physically ill and caused many sleepless nights.

This is not the America I thought I knew through dear friends of more than 30 years, it is NOT the America I WANT to know.

My heart is heavy and very sad. Hang in there! 🙂

It’s Getting Ugly Out There Folks

Yes I had already guessed that. If I was that ignorant, I would never open my mouth to speak.

Glenn Beck is a “logical thinker”, on which planet?

Did any of these people ever go to school?

I noticed something with all of these totally ignorant people, not one of them knew how to listen. If they were not so aggressive and full of hate, I could almost feel sorry for them, almost.

9/11: honor thyself, America

I hope that is so AdLib, I still remember it now, would hope it would fade a little, it never did for me. God bless you all.
