Senate debates Health Care Bill

Never, Kalima, adlib doesn’t want Godzilla swimming over here and coming after LA. 🙂

Adlib, make them play nice. 🙂

Was amused in my visit to Never Never Land where the junior Rethugs were doing their standard lines. “Well, this is as far as it gets.” Etc. Somehow they need to learn to deal with their disappoints better. Will they all be in front of their altars to Sarah Palin praying for that miracle tonight?

They weren’t even worth commenting to. Of course, neither was much of anyone else there either.

HITO: Am I in the canine condo? Just wondering.

Had the Native American’s Been Republicans…

Nellie, I meant no offense. I just have great issues with how far too many people act as though “they’re all the same”. Different environments, different cultures, different ethics and beliefs permeate the American natives as much as they did any other distribution of people throughout the world.

Nellie: I have a concern when we say “the American Indians had a term…” in that it acts like the indigenous natives of this continent had a unified language base. Quite the contrary.

Perhaps 300 languages were spoken in Canada and the United States when the first Europeans arrived, and about 200 are still spoken by some 300,000 people. The American explorer and ethnologist John Wesley POWELL presented the first comprehensive classification of the languages north of Mexico in 1891, dividing them into 58 families. Various scholars have subsequently proposed consolidation of Powell’s families into a smaller number of phyla, with the most influential of these classifications credited to Edward Sapir. C.F. and F.M. Voegelin introduced the most widely accepted modern classification of American Indian languages, grouping most of the languages of the United States and Canada into seven macrophyla, with a few families and language isolates left unclassified

I couldn’t find it on the NY State Election Commission website. Amazing! Or else I’m just dense occasionally.

Sirens of Song

I had also gotten what are called Fast Trax for the house. After the first year setup, you can add or remove the lights for the exterior in less than an hour and no pain. http://www.ezupfasttrax.com/ft.htm

Javaz, it’s so nice you can say “we..” In my home the Christmas effort had become mine, and with adding lights to a 7′ noble every year (approx 12 hours) it ceased to be a joy.

“The Weekly Planet” Debuts Tonight!

Well, I’m out of here for the night. I’m getting slower than the server! Good night people.

BDM: I currently have over 3 in active service, but am no longer making them aware to other people, with a few exceptions. And not in public forums. DM is my primary known one, and most people over there know I’m Felonious Monk with that one.

I can very writing styles, but often chose not to.

It’s just a game. As I put it here this afternoon, it’s now just an internet paintball camp over there.

No, it was working a little while ago. Don’t know what happened. Although I did push a few things today.

I’ve noticed lately that the little “in-group” when they start talking about socks always ends up saying “LadyNaga, you know so much about these things, who is this or that?” It’s as if they acknowledge something is up but refuse to see any further.

And the sheep shall be led to slaughter…

I’m convinced that from the time you click on reply, a timer starts, and the longer it goes, the less likely your comment will be of surviving. It’s as if they don’t want any well conceived comments being provided.

Hi HITO: That is precious. Whoever received it. I’ll have to set up a sacrifice account from a remote location sometime and send in a feedback on such things, not in specific, but a general rant. And I’ll give them a “good” e-mail. I feel sad that they force people into such behavior by their acts and then complain because we react to it.

Bunch of fucking morons. I’m thinking that some internet publisher’s father was a colaborator in Greece. She sure acts like she has the genes.

Didn’t Medicare take only 6 months to come online?

Seems there are a lot of shell games from all quarters.

Do we have any proof that “Rob S” is a singular person? Or is this a generic “personalization” of whoever has the moderation power at any given time? Since there is no return e-mail, or so I believe I’ve been told, they could just be faking us all out.

But I’m continually pissed about the unfair and idiotic manner of their “moderation”. Troll shit that is as flagrantly abuse of people, our country, and the President gets left up and no one does anything about it, but then one of us post something fairly benign and it’s raptured and, in some cases, so are we. This is what has driven me away from any meaningful discussion there, it isn’t worth the effort. Besides, you can’t discuss with a troll. It never happens.

Evening, Khirad.

You’ve been busy over there, haven’t you? Glad you came back, even if to witness me embarrassing myself.

Seek: I know your issue, but have you thought of trying “Sheik” like “Sheik_and_de_Toys”? I don’t give them enough credit to figure that one out.
