adlib and guys, thanks for the new news bar. I’m glad to see it.

This victory was good but what was more telling to me was the NYC mayoral election. Bloomberg only won by a few percentage points over someone he was expected to roll over by a huge margin, and that after spending a $100 (edit) Million to win a third term when he had the term limit law changed.

Sadly, the gay marriage referendum in Maine went down to defeat. While the percentage there was narrow again, and it was in a conservative (but supposedly freedom loving state) this defeat will merely embolden the ReligiousWingers to keep on dropping their bird crap on everyone.

Yes I am. And no I don’t although when I’ve read ‘USSRR’s stuff, it did ring like one of our little “friends”. I’ll keep an eye on it.

If things don’t fit into the notion of how the MSM wants to portray it for ratings they do seem to quickly have a case of blindness. Of course, since I read the Republic, which ignores anything positive that is national and democratic, I’ve gotten used to it.

I just gave you a support message and fanned you. You’ll know it’s me.

I also posted several things explaining about how even the voters of upstate NY can be offended when outsiders tell them that their local concerns are provincial and they should accept an outsider to “represent” them.

Plouffe Responds to Queen Huffington

I am attempting to write with FranNotFromCA in a slightly different style than I usually do, no word contradictions (“don’t” does not occur) But I’ve used this sock variant before. I used to have StanNotFromCA, and cancelled it when I purged socks a few weeks ago.

Thanks for the support last night. The moose bake is on the schedule!

Playing it semi-straight Sarah was interesting. BTW, you got a new fan last night via my PUMA Ann fighting sock.

I can’t watch them either. It’s my aversion to lying and stupidity, probably. If you haven’t looked at them, try

http://www.newshounds.us/
http://www.newscorpse.com/

Both provide good summaries of the tomfoolery going on daily at Fox.

Good Morning, HITO.

The redirect is http://planetpov.wordpress.com/

Or some people are putting the PlanetPOV stuff in their profile and then telling people to go look in their profile.

Evening, HITO

OT Grabamop. Who is that person at HP who dislikes my Sarah impression so badly? I saw you fanned him, and he doesn’t like Sarah P, but what is his issue?

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 5:40 pm

And like on Freecell, the eyes would track your curser with every move.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 4:48 pm

Plastered all over the main or used as a watermark on each page? Imagine a ghost Arianna staring back at you no matter where you go at HP? And it would stay in view no matter how much scrolling you did? Ahhhhhgggg.

McCainCare: The Alternative GOP Healthcare “Plan”

We should remember that Mrs Wilson did ask her husband who that FOOL was that yelled at the President. So obviously she has some able to discern things. But if she accidentally spilled his coffee in his lap on Sunday morning, I wouldn’t feel too bad, either.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 6:36 pm

Unless Mrs. Wilson becomes one of the victims. No one deserves to die because of the foolishness of another, even if it is your husband and he’s a friggin’ republican tool who needed to be taken out behind the capital and given a severe “massage” by some fine individuals.

We Can Think That For You Wholesale

If not, we’ll leave it the den of trolls and neophyte progressives. We should bow our heads and pray for the young progressives’ souls.

Well, sporting fans, I’ve got to be a little more productive today, so I’m out for a while. Take care and kick some ass.

For some reason your response illicited a memory of “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut. If you haven’t read it, it is the ultimate in rebellion in a true “egalitarian” society.

I just thought of it – Don Henley’s “Dirty Laundry” is probably the best review of news ever in a song.

Morning adlib. Yes, for those of us who remember when news actually gave us the simple, mostly unadulterated facts, these are sad times. Wasn’t Ted Turner even lamenting about the sad state of CNN these days? I miss Chet and David, and Uncle Walter, even if what they brought us wasn’t always pretty. (my entire coming of age started with the Kennedy assassination and went on through the VietNam war era)

I even have issue with the daily “news” people on MSNBC, because they aren’t supposed to be commentators, but still are, or are being too cute and gossipy, instead of giving me the facts I need. And they’re supposed to be the “evil liberal” channel.

Seminar: A weekly discussion. First topic: What number of parties leads to the most progressive and effective society?

You’re in Kansas? I’m sorry. Just kidding Lardini. I sold my last property in Kansas this winter. Kansas politics has always been strange but it appears to have gotten much more so since I left twenty years ago. I was born and raised in Salina. Nice place to drive through, but I wouldn’t call it living there!

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 10, 2009 @ 12:14 pm

Hairyanna does it again.

@escribacat. Yeah, that’s the one. Everyone else gets it but him. Geez

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 4:25 pm

I’m not engaging them. I’m using guerilla warfare tactics. Hit and run or subtle traps. Or pretending to somewhat be what they wanted. I’ll let my “audience” here provide the feedback. At least three regulars are in the middle of it.

It’s cheap recreation when I didn’t want to think too hard.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 4:10 pm

@SeeknDestroy Who is that person who has the hardon regarding my SarahAnn sock and the image? Geez, I changed the image the other night and he’s still complaining. Tonight it should change to the “cute” Miss Wasilla photo of SarahP. He seems to have no humor at all.

Maybe Escribacat or Grabamop knows. They’ve been watching.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 3:56 pm

I was feeling mischeivious so I’m using my Sarah sock and playing with people. I’m glad grabamop knows who I am!

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 2:31 pm

This is now the sensitivity level at HP. ForPeace put this up and it was immediately removed.

See ………. this is what happens when H p won’t allow us to post on the main.

We end up posting on Sarah to Nowhere ……… what can I say.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 2:21 pm

I have one brother, lives outside of New Orleans. Complete opposite of me. Total jerk, always was, always will be. I’m not sure he does like, but it sure isn’t the local minorities. Last I heard his boss was a female minority. Burns him up. What an ass.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 2:04 pm

I wasn’t there except checking on people. I’m just so out of interest with so much there that even seeing what is “news” is not happening.

» Posted By Corgi Lover On November 3, 2009 @ 1:54 pm

I’m back…. Grabamop, If she is Arianna, have you noticed that her “Blogging” book from outside venders is now as low as 85 cents on Amazon! Makes SarahP look downright successful at $8.95.

I used to pat myself on the back a lot, and then got a nasty case of bursitis.

Here’s the wiki link. It dates back far further than that.
