Senate debates Health Care Bill

I think there is a cat bias here, I would pick up my doggies if I could, but one at 100lbs and the other at 80lbs, I’d break my back.

So, I’ll just get my red wagon and haul them away with me, so there!

No dogs?

I was worried about ol’fishlips Lieberman, but when I was over at HP, forgive me, the planet seemed to be stuck, then I saw this:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2009/11/21/806735/-20,000-pledgers-and-$1MM-pledged-if-Lieberman-filibusters-health-care

Gee, now I feel so much better…..

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 6:39 pm

Hey, it’s a start in the right direction, baby steps, baby steps!

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 5:20 pm

Yeh!!!!! Even Liver lips Lieberman voted YES!!!!!!

He knows he can’t back home unless he did, 60% of CT wanted this bill and a public option.

Loved how they used the old rules and had a seated vote!

I’m just wild about Harry…..

They’re so full of bull shit, I can’t stand it.

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 3:14 pm

I’ve been at him, in a nice way, to start reading more and discussing each Repug point. Even showed him where he could read the bill and fact check the Repug talking points. I’m hoping that I got through to him. He’s been watching the debate on an off today, got totally disgusted with the Repugs BS.

But, I think the real kicker, that put him over the top today, was that he was just notified by his insurance company that his healthcare insurance is going up by 15%, for 2010.

He’s in the same boat as us, self employed, no employees and over 50 yrs old. Not a lot of choices for us, so we pay thru the nose.

C-span on my computer is sluggish, or is it because the Repugs are on, switching to TV in kitchen, don’t know how long I will be able to take these two clowns from AZ….sorry javaz and Monk.

Snack time and bathroom break…be back soon!

Lord, I was thinking the same thing, what other solutions. They had eight, OK, I’ll give them six months to present something, where is it, what is it?

Watching the Republicans compared to the Dems on this debate is like watching a Tony Award wining play on Broadway, (Dems), and then going the next night to your local high schools senior class play…no comparison.

Is McCain showing signs of alzheimer’s?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 2:10 pm

His droopy face is starting to look like Lieberman’s…

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 12:58 pm

javaz, you are just way too organized for me! I can’t think past Turkey Day….good for you, I’m envious.

Orin Hatch is on, need to take a break from they who say no all the time…

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 21, 2009 @ 12:56 pm

OK, here’s a bit of hope…just talked to my brother-in-law, an ardent Faux News groupie and republican, and has been watching the proceedings today….even he, one who has been drinking the kool aide for years now, is disgusted with his party. Just about fell out of my chair when he said this…..

How many other Republican citizen’s are there feeling the same way, maybe there is a light at the end of this tunnel vision….

By the way, how’s everyone….

“The Weekly Planet” Debuts Tonight!

Me three, good night all….sleep well.

“Noodlehead” or “Noodles”, for short, is none too bright, he’s young, 15 months…The Big Guy, Rudd, got blasted in the face last year, won’t go out after dark unless one of us is with him. We have to stand on the porch and clap our hands before he’ll come down. Smarter than the younger one!

and yes that is a great discription of white rasta’s! Blondes I supose…

I was diagnosed two years ago with Hashimoto’s disease, so far I’m not on any thyroid meds yet.

Seems to flair up when I’m stressed out, have had only three attacks since being diagosed. Meditation and a lot of walking on the beach with big dogs help.

Night Monk, talk to you soon, sleep well.

Friends suggested using a plain douche, the vinegar in it cuts the smell faster, then bathing them with regular dog shampoo.

Have it on hand, haven’t had to use it for over a year, but the young one, Win, chased one the length on the yard last week, didn’t spray him, thank god…he’s such a noodlehead, didn’t know what he was chasing, the big guy, Rudd, just laid on the porch, probably said to himself, “Been there, done that”!

I do like that description, “PTS”!

The real spooky headcases I avoid, there was this new I see that is definately a HP staffer…shelly-some numbers at the end I can’t remember…what a pain, up there with acapo.

My new thing now when I’m there is to keep throwing their statements back at them with questions like, “Why do they feel that way” or “Please explain your stance”. Scared Flossy off with that today with his silly blanket statements about how we libby feminist don’t like Sarah P.’s new kind of feminisism.

I just can’t keep up with everyone’s new socks. I need to be slapped in the face with a “Don’t you know me” before I figure them out, LOL!

Hey e’cat, how’s the skunk smell, has it dissipated much?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:49 pm

Hey Kalima, how are you feeling? Hope better, my Dad had and older sister have RA, so far so good for me…just have a thyroid condition, which my doctor tells me is hereditary and connected to my family’s RA.

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:46 pm

Hey Mr. Monk, how are you, has DevastationManor imploded? Don’t see it on “My Fans” any more.

Checked today, I seem to have accumulated a lot of unknowns lately, have no idea who they are, can’t keep up anymore!

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:42 pm

So, with that statement they are admitting that they do have staff posting, very interesting to say the least.

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:38 pm

Wow, that seems a little more personalized than the generic time out e-mail…

Broke my Friday boycott, was bored this afternoon…here’s the link, not a word on MSM on it, gee wonder why?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:32 pm

Saw her interview with Billo the clown tonight, what a vapid person and your right, the voice would be considered torture.

Do we still torture?

Thank god for the edit button, not quite awake!

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 20, 2009 @ 9:28 pm

I saw that, still a little confused on how you go on a live chat, maybe if I ever stay awake for the next one someone can walk me through it.

Hey did anyone see that Sister Sarah walked out in the middle of a book signing yesterday? the youtube video of the angry mob was posted at HP this afternoon.
