I’m in…After seeing The Queen on ‘This Week’, Dec. 13th and on the Joy Behar show earlier, I was so disgusted, I was going to write my own letter to NBC and CNN, with a copy to Media Matters, asking them why they had this women on that clearly did nothing to enhance their shows….Just tell me what I can do to help, not a good writer or techno suavey, but can do research if needed.

Vox Populi AfterChat 12-18-09

Sorry I missed Vox Populi….I’m into a really good book, so that trumps everything in my life, even feeding and walking the dogs! Hope to be at the next chat….

Religious Right Holds “Prayercast” To Stop Health Care Bill

Sue, look forward to your piece on the ‘7 Mountains’…there are so many aspects of the religious right that scare the chit out of me, will they ever go away….not likely.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 18, 2009 @ 10:00 am

“All in the name of Jesus”…one, (Jesus), which this group has created to suit their needs, that is so far from the actual man portrayed in the bible.

If the real Jesus walked the earth today, they would not recognize him and put him down as a socialist, commie, aarraabbb!

Your term “Preycast” is on the mark, these so-called religious Christians ‘prey’ on the fears of their followers and distort facts to fit their own goals.

That’s wonderful…I am so embarrassed that this man is my senator…

Tiger, we all had the same question when we first came here…here’s my copy of instructions:

How do I set up an image to appear with my username?

This site uses Gravatars, which are avatarsimages you assign through Gravatar

Welcome Tiger99…good to see you here, yes, unfortunately year end shut downs seem be the trend, sad, very sad.

Pepe, thank you for your post and sorry that this had to happen so close to the holidays. Any job loss of any size makes a big difference in any community in our country and our economy.

We need to bring jobs back to this country…no matter the cost to the bottom line, and I hope big business realizes this soon. That by not doing this, and re-thinking their business model of outsourcing, it will eventually undermine even the strongest of companies the future.

What boomer says is true, “If we don’t care about of each other, who will?”, what you and your family did was the best thing that could be done to help these families out at this time….may we all take a lesson from you and continue to help each other.

The Public Option Flatlines

e’cat and all the other pet owners – I think one Thursday or Saturday, (I don’t want to miss Friday’s live chat), we do a post on everyones personal pet stories…I think we all have them.

I know it’s not political, or it could turn out to be, but so many of us have them…I think it would be fun.

If it’s OK with everyone, ie. AdLib and Co., I put something together.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 12:52 pm

Woof, we are all in this together, this is one of the things that I like about Obama, he sees the big picture and all the players in it. We are all connected, we truly have to think globally now…what we do here effects a lot of other countries.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 12:46 pm

LOL…I didn’t see your response until now….can’t stop laughing!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 12:31 pm

Excuse me, but he can go “F” himself…sorry, I’m just so tired of this crap…

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 12:16 pm

There are a lot of dog owner’s that should not have them…there is nothing worse than a stupid dog owner that can’t figure out why their dog jumps, bites, attacks other dogs and poops in the house on a consistent basis….arrgghh, that just get’s my goat.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 11:13 am

Ok, so you have three, e’cat has three greyhounds and a cat, Monk has two corgies and I have two goldens…I still think they’re wining…Kalima’s numbers just dwarf ours, damn, LOL!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 11:08 am

I think we should take a pole on how many cats vs. dogs that the posters here have….I think those stinking cats are wining!!!!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 10:49 am

Cute dog and nice picture, what kind is it?

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 10:47 am

Welcome Mightywoof…from one dog to another, you are right, see Adlib’s message below, there are many of us who still write and sign petitions to make our voices heard, we will not give up the fight!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 10:01 am

boom you are a pisser, LOL!!!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 9:51 am

Gretel…I agree that GI Joe needs to be placed on the front line with the minimum of body armour, maybe his wife would like to join him also…but dropping a drone on Joe’s home in CT is not a good idea, McMasion is too close to other homes, to many civilian casualties….LOL!!!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 9:24 am

kesmarn, I’m with you on a massive civil disobedience by the public, not because they are necessarily outraged, but because the just can’t afford it…if push comes to shove, if it’s over my budget, I will be the first one in line and will pay the fine….

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 9:19 am

Hey bito, you should see the comments on that sight about our beloved, {{snark}}, Joe….We here in CT are ruing the day Joe was re-elected,(by a small margin), by the Repuglies….

So yes, Joe IS a pre-existing condition that we will have to live with until 2012.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 15, 2009 @ 9:15 am

Morning bito and nellie….here’s something to think about if any bill is passed and Joe’s right in the middle of it again…scary

Hanukkah: the festival of light

LOL…what’s even sadder is when one of your family members, (like all three of my sisters), say, “You pulled a Mommy”, when you did or say something that you swear when you were younger that you would never, ever do!
