Obama is trying to figure out a viable plan for Afghanistan and hasn’t just followed McCrystal’s request. As you say, it will take time to see if the military/war budgets and activities wind down from where they are. Another issue is that so much of the conversation over there is “intercourse” with trolls…and we sure don’t want to see that abomination here. On one hand, I’m not as crazy about bringing the inter-member conflicts here from HuffPo. And all the free labor they get from real trolls is just gravy. Absolutely, many here and even at Huff proclaim plainly that the Empress has no clothes…the beautiful Progressive clothes that people see on that site aren’t there at all. It’s a nakedly corporate do-whatever-it-takes-for-profits fraud. And as you say, it is absurd now to even mention Freedom of Expression and Huffington Post in the same sentence.
