It is the seat of existence and we have no idea what that means. 2.)Sleeping – Theories have recently been tossed aside concerning why we sleep. for the longest time we thought it was a way for the mind to decompress. turns out that isn’t the case. Cases of people going months, even years without sleep and experiencing no ill effects have led many to wonder what sleep even is and whether it’s even necessary. 3.)Yawning – We don’t even really have theories for this one. It’s a total unknown. It usually marks fatigue but why? What purpose does it serve? Your guess is as good as mine and every scientist on Earth. 4.)Appendix – Theories are changing on this one as well. Before we thought it was a left over organ from our days eating only plants. Now we think it may play a part in regulating our immune system. Studies are still ongoing. 5.)Our teenage years – Every other species goes from adolescence straight to adulthood. Even our fellow primates. The prevalent theory is that it has to do with the evolution of our brain.
