Looks like Al-Qaeda won. » Posted By ADONAI On September 19, 2011 @ 8:57 pm Today’s Top 5 Top 5 Movies of Spring/Summer 2011(that I’ve seen) 1.)Rise of the Planet of the Apes – A far better movie than I thought it would be. 2.)X-Men First Class – After the disappointing X-3: The Last Stand, Fox rebooted the series and it was a great choice. 3.)Captain America: First Avenger – The final confrontation between Cap and Red Skull was a little underwhelming but I really enjoyed the pacing of the movie and the early focus on who Steve Rogers is as a person before he becomes Cap. 4.)Transformers: Dark of the Moon – Best of the series but that wasn’t a difficult feat to accomplish. Megan fox replaced by equally untalented actress. Shia Lebouf still on meth. 5.)Thor – 3 comic book movies on the list. What can i say? I’m a nerd. Hemsworth is a more than passable Thor and Hiddleston is definitely the perfect Loki. And Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings were uber hot. So I guess I should see more movies.
