Autumn is not quite here yet and Summer is on the way out. So, kick back and have some fun and pick your favorite tunes.

This weekend, let's fight the tide and put aside all the negativity and instead focus on what we like about life, being alive, the people around us and the world we live on. So post a song about something that's joyful, a place or time that gives you a sense of positivity or just a song that makes you feel good.

Those that would seek to dominate and control us all, love nothing better than to see us at each other's throats. Our disharmony allows them to grasp everything they want without our notice.

After the past few weeks of doom and gloom and the usual talking heads nonsense, my brain feels a little scrambled. I figured we should just mix it up good this weekend.

In case you're wondering, folks, mishigas is an alternate spelling of the Yiddish word "mishuga," meaning crazy, silly, a bit daft, round the bend....etc....

The theme this weekend is Rock and Roll. Pick your faves from any era, any sub-genre of good ole Rock and Roll. There is certainly plenty rock tunes to choose from. So get ready to kick out the jams and have some fun!

Pick a theme that addresses your thoughts, emotions and hopes for the future, or go with whatever songs that make you feel better and forget, for a short while, the troubles of our times.

Good news, folks. With a theme like Heart and Soul, I think it just about covers thousands of great tunes. Not quite free form, but there are so many to choose from, that it is pretty darned close.

Summer is here and it's time to thumb our noses at old man winter! Post your favorite Summer tunes, songs about the sun, warm starry nights, surfing, sailing, road trips or just sitting on the porch to enjoy the weather. As always, have some fun posting your faves or just enjoy the songs that others post. :cool:

The business of our nation is still up, down or indifferent. The 4th of July has been duly celebrated, so I thought an "anything goes," theme would be just the ticket.
