All that the GOP uses anymore in elections are lies and propaganda to create fear or anger in voters. What are the issues that Herschel Walker is running on? Werewolves vs. vampires? Legalizing Russian Roulette? Making abandoning children a competition in the Guinness Book of World Records (look out Elon, he's coming for you!)?

Republicans are putting forth a flawed candidate in Herschel Walker. He is not someone who will “operate on the right side of the question.” But someone who will be manipulated into supporting Republicans’ push toward authoritarianism and destroying our democratic form of governance.

We are at war right now and we just lost a major battle. Those intent on crushing our democracy are energized by their coup over the majority and they're frothing at the mouth to build upon it. This is a time for bold statements and rallying cries, for leadership on what specifically we can do now and what we need to do in November and beyond to win this war. This is the time for action.

Time to call a death cult for what it is and kick over the propaganda they use to excuse their sociopathy. The Republican Party is Pro-Death and must be stripped of its power to inflict more unnecessary death on innocents.

Among my list of pet peeves, is liberal. Is this because the conservatives on FOX made it toxic so I had to choose progressive? Maybe at first. But I did the little researching thing, and prefer left or progressive for several international and historic(al?) reasons.

The requirement of proof of vaccination to be in a public place, a fair and reasonable threshold to protect the majority of people and our economy and society, is very reasonable. And it is a very easy threshold for the unvaccinated to "cure" at no cost. It also allows them to refuse to be vaccinated without endangering those who are vaccinated.

Many brave Democrats lost their seats in 2010 for voting for the ACA but in doing so, they saved and helped millions of Americans, past, present and future. What they did was noble and profound, they changed history for the better. Clearly, Manchin and Sinema are not cut from the same cloth but perhaps they can be leveraged to do the right thing and become reluctant heroes in the end despite themselves.
