Tomorrow begins a four part series on the background and agenda of two of the most economically and politically powerful men in today's America, the Koch brothers.

Last night I had a dream of a beautiful dusk landscape, I dreamt I was as light as the ether, a floating spirit visiting...
It was a no-brainer (or as known in Republican circles, a "Gohmert") for Republicans to vote against background checks, an assault weapons ban and a gun magazine limit. And it was just as easy for them to be "outraged" by the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi. Only If deaths help them politically, do they matter.

They literally wrap themselves in flags (at least flag pins) but if you were to make a checklist of all of America's founding and ongoing principles, as a democracy and society, you'd find a substantial Republican checklist of things they despise.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot by police, arrived at the hospital under cardiac arrest with multiple gunshot wounds and blast-like injuries to his chest. The second suspect fled on foot, leading to the tense manhunt that is still underway at this hour.
The "world's greatest deliberative body" chose to deliberately deny the will of the people in a vote that kept a vote from happening. Cowardice. Craven cowardice.
Who but someone who hated our government would try to assassinate the elected officials in it? Who but someone who hated huge swaths of America would try to assassinate those in the media they see as not speaking for them? Who but an American would touch both bases?
