Self-proclaimed critics attempted to tie Michael Brown to the Gangsta Life of the rap songs and violence, concluding that a kid with no criminal record was no better than a thug. Perhaps these critics have forgotten about the past, when young children idolized the pirates of the 1700s, the cowboys of the 1800s Old West, and the gangsters, bank robbers and killers of the early 1900s for their criminal exploits.

Can we as citizens of this nation have an influence on policies that could help to alleviate some of the pain/strife that we see in this nation? Should we be trying to make this country/this world a better place or should we just be spectators?

Apparently, revolution and guns are only good things when in the hands of white people. Can you imagine what would be happening in Ferguson, MO right now if those protesting over the murder of Michael Brown openly carried rifles and hand guns in their protests?

Ferguson, Missouri, is a majority-black city governed and policed mostly by whites. The mayor is white. The police chief is white. The police force is 94 percent white. Only one of its six city council members is black. Ferguson, with a 67 percent black population, seem to defy electoral logic.

GOP candidate for governor of California went to the city of Fresno to spend a week homeless and made this video about his experience. B.S. or commendable? 

The real issue here is that when you criticize white people in power for using their power to further oppress black people, you're being racist. After all, aren't you attacking only white people when you do so?

The automatic impeachment declaration uses blank lines in the areas where charges against a future Democratic President should appear, and terms like "Enter Scandal Here", "List Connections to Terrorists" and "Fill In Traitorous Act" are placed beneath the blanks, in parentheses.

There are many myths about Australia and the people who populate it. Yes, we have the nastiest snakes, spiders, sharks, jellyfish and even birds who will kill you stone dead in seconds, but you normally don't find them in the suburbs of our main cities, where most of us live.

In 2007 I was initially all in for Hillary but ended up going with Barack Obama. Hillary's record, policies and style did not wear well with me. Will 2015 be different?

Hillary and Bill Clinton are incredibly wealthy people who move in the circles of the same wealthy and powerful who have inordinate control over our democracy and society, they are friends and peers with them...so is it most likely that if elected, she's going to hammer her best friends to help "the others"?
