All this talk about cutting and ceilings and limitations can make one feel a bit cramped. We should be talking and thinking about reaching for something, about America becoming something greater not smaller.
So this weekend’s theme is, “The Sky’s the Limit”, taken literally or figuratively. Songs about the skies and the stars or seeking something better.

Because of their name, anything by this band counts, I guess. So I pick this one.
Crack The Sky, “Nuclear Apathy”
Wow, you remember Crack The Sky? Great band.
contains the fantastic line,
“When they spit do you wipe the floor, and pray that they don’t spit no more? Or wise up?”
Very timely.
Very timely indeed. Two of those guys hail from my original “neck of the woods.” Thanks for posting them. It was great to hear them again. A very underrated band.
One of my new favorite bands

Yes–Starship Trooper;
The finale of this song is a masterpiece. One of the all time great guitar solos!
Totally agree.
Sorry, thumbed down by mistake.
I think I prefer the studio version, though. I like Wakeman’s intro, but without it, that blistering sound just comes out of NOWHERE. It’s like your hearing the soundtrack to the Big Bang.
