Murph – As we discussed, there will be a real Balkanization of Red states and Blue states when it comes to education, medical care and personal freedom situations. Red States will become ghettos for all and mostly have only in-state populations, people will flock to Blue states wher their kids can get good educations, medical treatment and rights and freedoms. Who would choose to set up a family and career in any of those states if they were starting out? Especially anyone with a daughter, who would want them to be essentially a baby machine for the state?

Murph – That is a good prediction. But considering how severe the charges are against Trump and how conviction on all counts would total a max of 55 years, I think it will be hard for the judge to sentence Trump to Mar-a-Lago instead. And other judges in other cases (aside from the FL docs case) may be pushed by any house arrest to issuing real prison time. Especially as Trump keeps whipping up insurrection.

When OR brought in a wad of attorneys from Regent University, there was ONE woman, a full attorney, whose ONLY function was shuffling and distributing paper. She never said a word, cross examined or questioned anyone. She was the factotum to the men who were, please trust me on this point, some of the dimmest bulbs I’ve ever seen. I creamed them when I was testifying – they were all p0osturing, no capacity.

CL – The problem of not having any limits is the power of incumbency. Feinstein should never have been re-elected but as an incumbent, she had the national support of the DNC and money to ward off any challenger. So mentally handicapped elderly who have no business leaving tens of millions of people unrepresented as they should be, can crush opposition using their incumbency. Feinstein, McConnell, etc. are cautionary tales, not successes of the system.

It is very common for Senate staff to give ANY legislator a heads up on what they’re saying and doing. Plaskett was given a poke by her Legislative Staffer last week for misstating something. It’s not always age – it’s pressure. The staffer’s job is to keep the Member on track.

CL – Feinstein has dementia. She is quoted as not even knowing what city she is in or that she had been in CA with the alleged shingles issue. I saw video of her being called on to vote and instead she launched into a confused speech. She doesn’t know what she’s doing, that is not right. But we have no chaice now except for her to essentially be a puppet and have her strings pulled by aides to have her vote on judges.

We have term limits in CA. We have a mediocre legislature. I worked with some of the Old Guard who were masterful, totally democratic, open to citizens. The term limited folks are there for themselves and do NOT have the same commitment to us, the citizens that the John Burtons and other had. I’ve seen the difference. Term limits produce mediocrity. They improve NOTHING.
