I’m so enjoying pompous DeSantis getting crushed around the nation in polling and his campaign crashing and burning. He and his horrible wife thought they were so entitled to becoming dictators of the nation and now they are having their faces rubbed in what losers they are and how DeSantis’ political career will be over when he’s forced to leave the governorship in 2026.

I have friends who were/are academics in the Sunshine State….they say that the colleges and universities are bleeding out in re. to their best faculty….leaving the state the moment they get an offer and how hard it has become to fill those slots.

I have spoken of the excellent superintendent we have in our school district….well, HAD….he has informed the board here that he will not return as his efforts to moderate efforts to make the lives of so many kids hell have largely failed. He will not be associated with them. A huge loss and so close to the start of the school year.
