Weekend Music Thread – Like a King

There are few who have walked the Earth who made a resonant impact on society in the pursuit of the dignity and rights of people as Martin Luther King Jr. did. The struggle for equality seems like an endless ebb and flow, getting better in some ways as it worsens in others. Martin Luther King Jr.’s example, deeds and the progress he helped bring about remain an inspiration and a force today.

So on this MLK holiday weekend, our music thread is a tribute to this remarkable man, the principles he stood for and the vision he had and acted on to bring about a better world where people would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
