PPO – It is a process to get to the SCOTUS. Lawyers from the ACLU, NAACP, Marc Elias, and more have already filed lawsuits against GA. It will take time to go from lower courts to be appealed to the SCOTUS eventually. And who knows how they would decide. The DoJ could also jump in on this to sue GA, the DoJ plate is so full with criminal acts by Repubs already but this is critical to continuing our democracy or collapsing into autocracy. PPO – Folks in Hollywood are on the fence about boycotting GA. First, they are greedy and the tax credits they get from shooting in GA are addictive to them. Second, the argument is that it is the working folks who would be doubly hurt by a boycott and the GA anti-voting laws.
