Vox Populi, our weekly live chat about the week’s events begins tonight at 7:00pm PDT. Hope to see you then! AdLib 4 hours ago

AdLib, you there? twilson117 3 hours ago

Yep! Sorry for the delay! AdLib 2 hours ago

This daylight saving thing! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

see u soon pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Hello folks sorry I missed every one for the past two weeks. twilson117 2 hours ago

Hey PPO! AdLib 2 hours ago

Hey PPO twilson117 2 hours ago

Folks were asking about you, TW. AdLib 2 hours ago

Calls from friends came and well couldn’t kick the off. twilson117 2 hours ago

Hi, ad, TW! Isn’t it wondeful how boring Biden is, quietly doing stuff and not bleating about it every 5 minutes pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

No worries, just sayin’, you were missed. AdLib 2 hours ago

Appreciate it. twilson117 2 hours ago

AdLIb you made some good points on the filibuster. twilson117 2 hours ago

Who would have thought boring would be interesting PPO? Go figure. twilson117 2 hours ago

For those who have at least a crumb of objectivity, the desperation in what the MAGA pols and media is showing with Dr. Seuss, Major the Dog, Biden being on green screen or not on green screen and tripping on the steps to the plane, should be so damn obvious. AdLib 2 hours ago

Thanks TW, you made some great points on that and the need for a 1/6 commission. AdLib 2 hours ago

Fox is the new Pravda, judging by their preference of Putin for Joe. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Covid visits Mar a Largo who would have thought

twilson117 2 hours ago

TW, i hope that’s not the only load of hurt descending on that blighted bit of Fla in the coming weeks pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

I think a PAC should be setup to organize people harmed by Fox News propaganda to sue them. Again and again until they knock it off out of fear or go out of business. AdLib 2 hours ago

Well PPO who knows. It seem Trump** is really worried about what Vance is doing. twilson117 2 hours ago

Florida is sure a serious candidate to explode with new variants, that would hurt Trump and his garish resort too. AdLib 2 hours ago

Hello. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Hey Murph! twilson117 2 hours ago

Murdoch’s Sky News here has been dumped by WIN Television, a privately owned regional television network which reaches more than 5.2 million viewers across six states of Australia pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Murph!! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Hey Murph! AdLib 2 hours ago

TW…I was one of those who kept asking after you…glad to see you here this week. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Well that has got to hurt the pocketbook. twilson117 2 hours ago

Glad to be back Murph as I told the others phone calls from friends who wanted to talk. twilson117 2 hours ago

Apparently ATT are looking at backing out of Fox as well. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

TW…just pleased to see you…. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Anyone think the hammer dropping down on Cuomo is related to Trump facing criminal charges in NY? Not so sure but it seems oddly timed considering how long this has been going on with Cuomo. AdLib 2 hours ago

I wonder PPO how long before it hit here in the US that he needs to shake things up and fire the entire line up starting with Hannity twilson117 2 hours ago

PPO – If ATT, Comcast, etc could cut off Fox as Trump’s been cut off from Twitter, sanity may yet return. AdLib 2 hours ago

I think that Cuomo’s public image as a great governor (and the book he “authored” that celebrates that) made him a prime target. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

BTW, got my first Moderna shot today. No pain, ill effects or anything so far. AdLib 2 hours ago

TW, the money and only the money will talk. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Well done, Ad! how long to shot 2? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Hubris will nail you every time AdLib. twilson117 2 hours ago

Murph – But why did this all collapse on him now? Curious about the timing/ AdLib 2 hours ago

Yep money talks and BS walks as they say. twilson117 2 hours ago

PPO – Shot 2 is next month, about 5 weeks. AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad…congrats……as you know I and all of those in the Co-op over 60 have had both their shots……it is a relief but we must remain on our guard. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

According to the Palmer report, ‘Michael Cohen says we’re going to see “indictments start flying” in New York criminal case against Donald Trump ‘ pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Murph – Yep, I’ve heard cases of an inocculated person getting COVID and not getting ill but passing it on to a family member. And some have gotten ill. AdLib 2 hours ago

AdLib we’re going to need some appropriate music for Trump** when he gets served. twilson117 2 hours ago

Ad….Cuomo has lots of enemies and he has been so heavy handed for so long that the opportunity to strike at him with the public charges is too good to let pass by. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Murph what are your friends at the Co-Opt saying about the insurrection? twilson117 2 hours ago

Ad, 80-YO man got innoculated, 2 days later, tested positive and dieed a week later, as did his wife, 4 days later. So the shots aren’t great untill both are in and the time to become effective passes by. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

TW – What’s your bet in the Trump indictment pool for when the first criminal charges against him will be filed? AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad….because the virus has not taken root in someone because THEY are shielded from it does not mean that they are not carriers. So, masking, distance, and sanitizing are prudent. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

I want to say April 1st

twilson117 2 hours ago

TW, Yes! April 1 would br so karmaic pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

PPO…that 80 year was probably infected and the virus had taken root resulting in the symptomatic conditions that eventually killed him. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Murph – I’ve never been a fan of Cuomo. I did like seeing him stand up to Trump but that was it. Cuomo runs a political machine as Trump does, not what I support in a democracy. But again, why did the first accusation happen now instead of earlier? AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad, new Gov = pardon for BLOTUS, perhaps? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

PPO yes the fool will be Trump** twilson117 2 hours ago

PPO – Exactly, the vaccine doesn’t work immediately so before the initial 2 weeks, people could be just as vulnerable to getting badly ill as the un-innoculated. AdLib 2 hours ago

Murph – That is a very important fact, Americans need to understand that those vaccinated can still be carriers, as younger people can be without showing any symptoms. AdLib 2 hours ago

PPO when it happens I will have to add a 1 after the two asterisks I do for his name. First Pres twice impeached first president indicted. twilson117 2 hours ago

TW….My Co-Op has many members who are definitely on the right side of life (by which I mean the political right)….at first there as a mixture of claims that events were being misrepresented, then the events were the action of conspirators trying to frame Trump and his followers, then the events were the action of left wing radicals, then rioters misunderstood what the President was asking of them and got caught up in an emotional frenzy, then the rioters may have been misled, then a dawning realization how bad this whole was and is, and now, a lot of quiet. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

TW – Now that would be hilarious! April Fools Day is the perfect day to go down in history as the day the first ex-president who is an utter fool, was indicted. AdLib 2 hours ago

Fergie and I are still doing the 100% protection with masks, gel, wipes washing etc. even though 50,000 people were allowed to go to s friggin football mathc last night! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Murph, so they are in complete denial? twilson117 2 hours ago

Ad, ccan he be physically arrested and perp walked as well? Please? Please? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

TW…it is more than denial…there is a lot of justifying, reinterpreting, and, now, questioning. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Muprh, have any of them read the two reports that came out clearly stating it was and insurrection? twilson117 2 hours ago

PPO – I’m just wondering about that, did Trump or even just the Repub machine coax the first charge to fall on Cuomo now in hopes a Repub could replace Cuomo and pardon Trump? So many things would have to go right for that to happen, not a likely approach but it still could have been the plan. AdLib 2 hours ago

PPO for that to happen they would have to get rid of the Lt. Gov. who is a dem. twilson117 2 hours ago

Ad….I do not have any particular insight as to why accusers came forth at this time….I suggest though that there doing so gave those waiting in ambush for him to jump. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Ad, if a new Gov were elected, can he pardon BLOTUS for all crimes, or just NY stuff? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

TW…..there has been some reading of excerpts but mostly to reject them as bias from the lefties. MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Murph – Quiet from the pro-Trump crowd is an improvement indeed. AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad, according to various reporting it seem Gov. Cumo was a bit of an ass. twilson117 2 hours ago

Murph, perhaps Jan 6 has hit home at last, that QAnon and the MAGAts migh not be the ‘patriots’ they claimed to be? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

PPO – I’ll be doing the same, wearing my mask since my shot this morning and social distancing. Will do so until we’ve really beat COVID. Crazy to let down just before the finish line. AdLib 2 hours ago

I was in a store last week where there was a guy with a BIG button that read: I got my shots! SO,NO MASK! Deal with it.! MurphTheSurf3 2 hours ago

Unclear of the concept! MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO – Technically, yes, Trump could be arrested and perp walked after an indictment but I think it’s pretty certain he will just appear in court when it’s time since he is an ex-president (underline on the “ex”). AdLib an hour ago

Oh, by the way, I’m sex obsessed and my blood sugar’s spiking, so I gotta go clobber a bunch of Asians pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph reading How Democracies Die and the authors point out how folks like your friends are a major cause for them failing. twilson117 an hour ago

Ad, Rats! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

PPO – The NY Gov can pardon Trump from all state crimes, not civil cases though. AdLib an hour ago

An uneducated, unaware and uninformed electorate is the poison pill for many democracies. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Ad, Ok. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Ad and PPO….I cannot imagine any scenario in which Trump would be pardoned by Cuomo. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph before I forget thanks for commenting on my piece in Medium and my blog. twilson117 an hour ago

TW – I have always seen Cuomo as a bad man to have as Gov. He is very conservative on a number of issues but mainly, he is the boss of a political machine. Very anti-democratic in my book. AdLib an hour ago

Murph, why do you think that the GOP does its best to suppress education, if not to keep the plebs ignorant and pliable? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Oh, Murph’s dropped out pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I am not sex obsessed or on a sugar high, but I still would like to Clobber Trump. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

back again! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph – That ass who wore that button underlines what Trump has truly unleashed in so many of his followers, their anger has been transformed into a justification to be an enemy of society. AdLib an hour ago

TW…welcome. It was terrific. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Sorry folks, is the Vox app dropping foks? AdLib an hour ago

I’m OK, Ad, online on a desktop pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I been reading How Democracies Die for research for a piece I want to submit to Medium and it’s amazing how the authors point out that people under a democratic form of government will willing give into a strong man. twilson117 an hour ago

PPO – Yeah, always a sign of professionalism for a white, bigot cop to quote a hate crime murderer’s claim of killing so many Asian Americans because he had a bad day. And that cop had a racist t-shirt on his Facebook account, surprise! AdLib an hour ago

Murph – No but the plan, if it exists, would be to force Cuomo out, hope it taints Dems and in the special election to replace him (the Lt Gov would fill in until then), a Repub Gov is elected who would then pardon Trump. AdLib an hour ago

PPO….one of my theses is that both the GOP and Democrats have conspired to bring down essential educational elements that were in place in the U.S. since the post Civil War era but were dismantled beginning in the 1970’s. The teaching of American History in grade and high school, civics in high school and civics testing linked to graduation were commonplace – there has been a studied whittling away for 50 years. Why? Both parties count on ignorance as an ally in the control of the bases. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Ad…ah….well that kind of plot is one that I can seen the Trumpists embacing so you may have a point. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Frankly….I think Cuomo may ride it out….other governors have done this….the question is will he be able to launch another run for the office. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Worrying concept, Ad and Murph. Education should be even more important than infrastructure, hope the new Admin prioritise it pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph I’m incline to agree with you on Cumo staying the course. But his political career is toast. twilson117 an hour ago

I keep getting dropped but I get back on pretty quick. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO as I told a friend some time back we’ll know things are working when we start complaining about all the construction messing up traffic. twilson117 an hour ago

TW – There is a very strange movie from around 1930, Gabriel Over the White House, in which a president has a religious revelation and tells the other branches of government to step back as he acts as an autocrat to quickly rescue America from The Depression and all. It’s presented like a Frank Capra film, that the audience would be rooting for this autocrat to rescue the country. That tells you a lot about how citizens of a country, when in a bad way, can pine for an autocrat to step in like a Big Daddy and fix everything. Which, unfortunately, is not what autocrats ever do with such power. AdLib an hour ago

Twilson….I agree….hopes for a presidential bid were fading before this but he was hoping for another gubernatorial run. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO yes, that is what is coming through in the first part of the book. twilson117 an hour ago

Ad…..Roman authors (Cato comes to mind) addressed the same phenomenom. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph the ole saying about power and corruption. twilson117 an hour ago

I think Cuomo is guilty as sin but after the way the Dem mob forced Al Franken out over making a stupid joke, I think all pols should wait until they get fully investigated before resigning. AdLib an hour ago

PPO – One of the benefits of charter schools for Repubs is that they don’t have the academic requirements as public schools do. Hence, their being ideal for dumbing down the public. AdLib an hour ago

Ad…Cuomo seems to me to be just the kind of old-time boss who played fast and loose with “his” people…..but the process of discovery should not be a political one. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph – Hope that bout of being dropped out is over now. AdLib an hour ago

Ad….and yet Charter Schools are held up by the Right as Towers of Pure Learning. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Ad…me too. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Hey…what do we make of the Biden stumbling story……the GOP answer to Trump at West Point? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph – Yep, Cuomo is a throwback to the old time political bosses which is why I see him as a political adversary of democracy. AdLib an hour ago

Ad. Yawp! MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Back when I was in HS we got all the jerks from CBA – Christian Brothers Academy a private Catholic school. What a bunch of dorks. twilson117 an hour ago

Murph – Like everything else Republicans say, if you flip it around and assume the opposite of what they say is true, you’re probably right. AdLib an hour ago

Did we lose PPO? twilson117 an hour ago

Let me know when @POTUS fails the toilet paper and umbrella tests. Then I might ignore those as well. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

There you are PPO twilson117 an hour ago

Nope, I’m here! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph – The RW attacked Obama for wearing a tan suit while McConnell regularly wears them. The Biden-tripping story is just another pathetic distraction, he got up and hurried up the rest of the stairs. But any opportunity to ding Biden for something will be inflated by the RW media into being more important than the overthrow of the country. AdLib an hour ago

Ad, clutching a the tiniest straw. Major’s nip didn’t get much traction pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Ad…I just find the way the Biden fall fail is being played as very much in line with the way West Point was covered…. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

TW – Repubs know that those less educated are much quicker to latch onto opinions that may seem so phony on the face of them but validate them and their superiority in some way. AdLib an hour ago

When I hear about how RW complain about what Biden is doing that’s when I know he’s winning. twilson117 an hour ago

Don’t forget the attempt to manufacture a corruption allegation against Biden over Hunter, both before AND after the election. That failed too. AdLib an hour ago

Has Schumer finally shaken off McConnell and asserted his power? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

At least Biden can drink from a glass with one hand and jog up and down ramps. AdLib an hour ago

Hey Khirad! AdLib an hour ago

What shape will a reform of the filibuster take do you think? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

HEY K! MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Hey K twilson117 an hour ago

Have you seen the images of Trump from last week? He looks weak and pasty, no spray tan, a big bruise on his cheek and multiple band-aids on his arms. AdLib an hour ago

Murph, I think they should consider what Franken and Orenstein have purpose. twilson117 an hour ago

Ad…no I did not see the images. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Twilson….briefly, what is that? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO – It remains to be seen how Schumer will or won’t push back on McConnell in real terms. He’s spoken out in defiance but actions speak loudest. AdLib an hour ago

TW, what proposal? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Here are photos of Trump from last weekend, a big swollen area on his cheek.

AdLib an hour ago

Murph if I remember they would need 41 for cloture and would have to be a in the Senate Well defending it, ala Mr. Smith goes to Washington style. twilson117 an hour ago

I’m laughing at reports that in texas, they’ve removed BLOTUS’ wax dummy from display because people keep punching him in the face! LOL! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Even in his “45” Hat…he looks so…..over the hill. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Just goes to show what makeup can do for you pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph – I think there could be filibuster reform but thanks to Manchin, it won’t be trashed as it should be. Maybe a return to a talking filibuster? I liked the proposal to lower the votes needed for cloture as a filibuster continues but Manchin won’t support that either. What do you think? AdLib an hour ago

Twilson…..that reform would be true re-forming, taking us back many decades. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO – Same here! That wax museum was in TX of all places too. Funniest news headline of the year so far. AdLib an hour ago

Manchin is going to have to be made an offer he cannot refuse. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Gang, I am fading fast. PLanting season is upon me and I am exhausted. See you next week. Murph MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO Franken and Orenstein came up with a proposal to reform the filibuster that would reduce the number of votes needed to invoke cloture and require Senators to stand and defend their reasons for filibustering. If they stop then the question could be called ending the filibuster. twilson117 an hour ago

Murph – I think Manchin is an insecure jerk and he craves the pandering to him from both parties. Out of ego, I think he’s going to squeeze this lemon for all the juice he can get out of it by not falling too strongly in line with Dems. He is a real dick. AdLib an hour ago

OK, folks, Time for me to get rained upon. Big storms here down the East and South Coasts of Australia. Who says there is no such thing as climate change/ pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Stay dry and safe, PPO! Best to Fergie! AdLib an hour ago

Take care PPO twilson117 an hour ago

Thanks Ad. You all stay safe and out of the way of tornados! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Tornados in CA? AdLib an hour ago

Well Ad looks like we’re the two left standing. twilson117 an hour ago

Some folks just can’t hold their beers. AdLib an hour ago

Serves me right for buying the first two rounds. AdLib an hour ago

Well I guess you’re right. twilson117 an hour ago

How are things out your way? AdLib an hour ago

I hope Summer will take it McConnell. He keeps saying failure is not an option. twilson117 an hour ago

Things are ok. Trying to get better info on when wife and I can get our shots. I’m not a fan of needles but I will suck it up for this one. twilson117 an hour ago

That would be good, Schumer never impressed me as being a strategist, lots of good political speeches but still waiting to see if he can whip all Dems behind undercutting the filibuster, if not getting rid of it. AdLib an hour ago

What are the requirements in MA for getting the vaccine? AdLib an hour ago

I agree. If they don’t want to get rid of it them modify it. twilson117 an hour ago

Well, they have lowered the age to 65, but availability is the problem at the moment. twilson117 an hour ago

But as I wrote in my comment to you on your post, this is the only chance Dems will have to stop elections from being permanently corrupted. They can’t let Manchin and Sinema protect the filibuster and lose our democracy instead. AdLib an hour ago

They added a tier here in CA on the 15th for school employees and those with health conditions, lots of appointments available until Wed now they’re almost all gone. Will probably take weeks until more people can make appointments. AdLib an hour ago

Your point was valid. I think the problem is Dem’s are short sighted. They are looking at the senate as it stands and fear they will lose Machin then the majority. twilson117 an hour ago

Agreed. Dems sometimes are too enticed by symbolism when firm action is needed, because taking action isn’t symbolically as noble. But fixing wrongs is the most noble, they need to understand that and put aside this obsession with symbolism. AdLib 42 minutes ago

I was discussing it with my wife and she called to get information from the local heath center her she’s waiting to hear back,. twilson117 42 minutes ago

We have multiple online systems here in CA, some did not have appointments and others did. You may want to check to see if that’s the same case in MA. AdLib 41 minutes ago

I know the system here in MA was a mess. But will be checking it out supposedly they’ve fix a lot of the problems. twilson117 40 minutes ago

I got mine at a CVS. There are many different places to go including certain medical facilities, pop up facilities, drugstores, markets, etc. AdLib 40 minutes ago

At least out here, there is that variety of places. But after this new tier opened up, availability disappeared. AdLib 39 minutes ago

Also I have a doctor’s appointment next week with my primary and will check with him. twilson117 39 minutes ago

As I said, I had the Moderna. The woman at CVS gave a perfect injection, didn’t even feel it, no ill effects though they have you wait around for 15 minutes after the shot because there can be rare but severe reactions. AdLib 38 minutes ago

Yes that’s the problem. twilson117 38 minutes ago

I’m guessing it will be the Moderna as well. When I get let everyone know. twilson117 36 minutes ago

That’s good, your doctor should hopefully be able to help out with the best path for getting an appointment. Out here, many people have been getting shots even though they weren’t technically qualified. That rubs me the wrong way but what I discovered is that they can lie in the process to get the appointment then at the CVS, no one checked to verify the people getting shots were legitimately eligible. They just gave the shots. AdLib 35 minutes ago

I would rather get it from our health care provider if possible. Not keen on CVS. twilson117 33 minutes ago

I would’ve taken any of the vaccines, I know that Choicelady and Murph got the Pfizer. I like that the Johnson and Johnson is only one shot, I would’ve gotten that if it was the one they had. AdLib 33 minutes ago

I’ve gotten my flu shots at CVS previously, it’s very convenient for me and seeing they did so competently, I was fine with getting the Moderna shot there. AdLib 32 minutes ago

Like all the Medical experts say they’re all good, the point is to get vaccinated. twilson117 31 minutes ago

Yep, I think it’s kind of a race right now to get vaccinated before any variants become widespread. AdLib 31 minutes ago

I think there is a strong possibility that could happen and it could be far more contagious and deadlier. AdLib 30 minutes ago

Agree. twilson117 30 minutes ago

It doesn’t help to have these idiot Republican governors opening up their states for business. twilson117 29 minutes ago

Florida is already in trouble again as is Mississippi which is seeing increasing infections while other states have leveled off. Texas is ripe for a new wave now too, all those states opening up 100% and not requiring masks. AdLib 28 minutes ago

And since people travel, we won’t be safe just because Repub states are becoming petri dishes for infections. So you and your wife need to get vaccinated as soon as possible. AdLib 27 minutes ago

Everyone of the Rep Governors who have open up for business fully is placing the country at risk. twilson117 26 minutes ago

I know. twilson117 25 minutes ago

Yep and meanwhile, Politico and even more mainstream media are touting DeSantis as having “beat” COVID. He’s hidden the testing and deaths and yet they still look bad. And now, infections will go up. AdLib 24 minutes ago

I truly don’t wish for the deaths of anyone, including Trump. But there may be a thinning of the dysfunctional herd if Trumpers refuse to get vaccinated while most of America does so. AdLib 23 minutes ago

DeSantis is a liar. We will see that when the media starts to report of rising case from Spring Break. twilson117 22 minutes ago

Fall and Winter will come again, COVID will be around to one degree or another, possibly mutated into a more dangerous form, what do these Trumpers think is going to happen then? AdLib 22 minutes ago

Remember, FL didn’t stop Spring Break last year and then became a super-spreader there and around the region. AdLib 20 minutes ago

Yes other variant strains of COVID and other yet to be named virus. twilson117 19 minutes ago

The three biggest super-spreaderevents I’m aware of is Spring Break 2020, Sturgis motorcycle rally and Trump campaign rallies. AdLib 19 minutes ago

Not counting holidays that is as super-spreaders, they are in their own category I think. 4th of July last year was a disaster as were Thanksgiving and Christmas. AdLib 18 minutes ago

Well given what Republican governors are doing you have to include stock car racing. twilson117 17 minutes ago

The UK and South African variants are very worrisome. But worse could be coming. AdLib 17 minutes ago

Yep, car racing, HS and college football games, it’s a bit insane that so many people in conservative states are the exact opposite iof conservative when it comes to a pandemic. Much of this is thanks to Trump. The damage he has done to the country is so widespread and profound. AdLib 15 minutes ago

Yes they are. It’s a dilemma and we need to take it seriously and forget about bravado. twilson117 14 minutes ago

It goes to their not believing in science. Putting their faith in a grifter and believing their entitled to do what ever they want. twilson117 13 minutes ago

That’s all these insecure RWs have, to pretend to be righteous and macho when the truth is, those who are righteous and confident don’t feel they need to prove anything to anybody. Just by needing to prove it, they humiliate themselves. AdLib 12 minutes ago

Trump** has done more harm to this country than any foreign agent could. twilson117 12 minutes ago

Osama Bin Laden is looking up at America after Trump and applauding. AdLib 11 minutes ago

(cause he ain’t in heaven) AdLib 11 minutes ago

What no 72 virgins? twilson117 10 minutes ago

I have a feeling that Bin Laden is feeling now like he is 72 ex-virgins. AdLib 10 minutes ago

We will do our own selfs in. twilson117 10 minutes ago

That’s how republics have always failed, from the inside. AdLib 9 minutes ago

We really do have an insurgency in this country and the sooner most Americans see it as that and push to bring it down, the better for the nation. AdLib 8 minutes ago

Yes. History has proven that. twilson117 8 minutes ago

Moral decay often is the vehicle for the fall of a republic. Trump has made immorality something for the insecure and fearful to take pride in. They boast about how immoral they are, openly spouting and acting on racism, threatening the lives of any they see as opposition to their Great Leader, appaluding the sadism Trump demonstrated towards so many. They are immoral and ironically, like the shooter in GA, they are also part of the evangelicals. AdLib 5 minutes ago

From what I’m reading authoritarian from of government rises from the failure of its progenitor democracy. One case in point Urban in Hungary. Chavez in Venezuela. twilson117 5 minutes ago

Trump** has shown other the way. twilson117 4 minutes ago

Yes, the more a society veers away from the principles that were the foundation of their nation, the more adrift they are, the more likely they will sink when the rough seas come. AdLib 3 minutes ago

With that I’m going to have to call it a night. I’m going to have to thing about what you just said. Take care. twilson117 2 minutes ago

Sounds good! Glad you made it tonight! Have a great weekend! AdLib a minute ago

Thanks take care. twilson117 in a few seconds

Night! AdLib in a few seconds
