PPO….the efforts by the GOP to suppress the vote, to misrepresent the vote, and to alter the vote are reprehensible. The state has a smart Democratic governor who is stymied by a GOP legislature. The most recent action has a federal appellate court striking down a ruling that requires that ballots postmarked by a certain date must be counted until the vote is certified. The GOP has put forth a date well before that. The court has sided with them. Given problems with the USPS this is a serious matter. More court action is planned but the team I work with is trying to accelerate the return rate on mail in ballots, early voting on site and support services for the day of voting.
