I’m reposting this and probably will repost it every couple weeks until real healthcare reform is passed as a reminder to keep the pressure on our leaders to lead.
Thanks, KQuark. It’s very helpful. I was hearing the other day that one of the most important things we can do is sign petitions so that congress members have proof of the broad support for health care reform and the public option in particular. There’s not much more I can do in terms of calling my reps (which I have done). Surprise of surprise, Jane Harman SUPPORTS this reform and has made a strong statement in favor of the public option. Battlin Barbara Boxer is one of my Senators, and she’s always with the public .And DiFi just doesn’t care what her constituents tell her!
So I’m left with signing petitions, joining a march, if there is one, sending emails to the White House. This list gives me good direction.
KQ as always a very thorough list, now all is needed is for people to stop whining, get off their collective arses and do what your President asked them to do so often when he said, “I need your help, I can’t do this alone.”
Shame on them!!!
Here is my errant “that” now all that is needed……..
Helpful Hint: You can click on “Edit” in the upper right corner of your comments to revise them.
That is very sweet of you, but there is no “Edit” in the upper right corner for me. No problems, it probably left town. 🙂
KQ, thanks for all the links. We do need to have an organized push at these Congresspeople to drown out the wackos at the town halls.
