Kalima, It is 4 long noses for sure. What’s so funny is that you don’t have to go back a week to find a good DNC clip from Romney. I mean, really, splice 50 sequential Romney quotes and Comedy Central has their work done. So does the Dem Party.

KQ, just completely disheartening. I think treason has been breeched/broached? often with these people. Trying to bring down an elected president sounds like grounds of attempted overthrowing of our government, but anger, attack and moral justification doesn’t seem to measure for the democrats.

KT, my mom passed but I took her in–as her eyes–to vote against George. Five foot tall. Macular/retianal, needing help in the booth. I was very proud to be there.

Kes, We live in a moderate GOP district: for the first time the GOP rep has an early challenge! romney is one of thier kind but there are NO Romney signs. It’s early for signs but some issues just don’t fly here: no choice, no gay rights, otherwise pretty GOP. Working it.

Ad, It might have been Ezra Klein sho said the GOP have done a magnificent job of talking only about income tax–a progressive tax–without any mention of payroll tax, which the federal tax, social security and medicare taxes, all of which are regressive.

So, at $50,000, married, 2 exemptions: $19625 is deducted. Pretty big percent compared to people of higher income. This is a nuance and blatant at the same time in my opinion.

All the talk of taxes is really on the excess of payroll deduction and that is treated as a non-starter in a lot of those white men earning $50,000.

What Would You Like to See From Dems and Obama at the DNC?
