Morning Blog

WTS, Thank you for this. My son was in Chegdu, China when their earthquake hit. I had a chance to see some of those small back alley pathways and stores. Your friend’s descriptions somehow help me grapple with these images that are just so big.

I remain speechless, my feelings too big for words. My son was in the Chengdu, China earthquake a few years ago. I stood afar then too.

My best thoughts are with you and all who are there.

Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

did you hear Kay Bailey Hutchison say that Obama chose specifically to not support TX? You can’t make up the lies that serve as bravado. I saw a brief clip of someone running for office in TX that said “I hate seeing that flag fly above ours”, that being the American flag above the flag of Texas.

I’m not patient at reading but wow, people should start to listen to the history that contaminates thinking in some of these states. Cotton to cattle; east to southwest to northwest. Cattle. Cowboys

Would a petition help?

We’re not short of chickens for sure! Chickens wanting money to stop the GOP when if they just opened their mouths, their Congressional polls would rise.

I’m wondering how many people are now afraid to tweet. Well I don’t have to worry about taking provocative pics. Ha!

You do make tweets more interesting; I will learn and read more.

Hey SallyT, I think I know what you’re feeling but I haven’t found much that helps except to divert myself. Sad. We should be able to get a liberal, peaceful weapon and fight back; words should work, picture should work, history should work, but nothing does.

I would tell you a joke, but I’m really bad at jokes.

and even more discouraging because the information is there; it’s all out there for people to see from “What’s The Matter With Kansas?”, Rove’s entreaties about creating news and creating a one party control, to the obvious comparisons of fascism to today’s GOP.

You did this Adonai: Your dogs are best talk launched the final racket in our house. We now have a puppy. While this doesn’t put weight on the world crisis scale, it has made two people pretty happy. Dogs! Just so you know, I LOVE cats aw well.

Pics will take me awhile because I’m technologically inept. Name, oh God, terrible names have been loosed on the universe since last night! I do miss my cat still.

» Posted By foodchain On June 5, 2011 @ 5:39 am

She is, she is! This is all Adonai’s fault! 😉

It’s late, it’s odd, it’s personal and not even anything close to a world, nation, state, or local, but…….

PUPPY, PUPPY, PUPPY
😉

I’m not very serious, but will be even less so! You guys keep your end of the bargain though…It helps me.

Palin’s kids write “How I spent my summer vacation”. Can’t even.

» Posted By foodchain On June 3, 2011 @ 7:48 pm

More apologies than Longfellow. I think all the rest of us would not be angry at Palin if she would just apologize. For being Palin and profiting from it.

Bito, I saw this. The news keeps moving forward. Guess I’ll be doing some work in WI! A two-fer would be yet another strong statement, senator and governor. McCarthy through his red baiting actually created a democratic party out of the moderate GOP. There had not been a democratic party per se until the far right drove the moderates away. Looks like history might repeat itself. 😉

Here’s one talented teen. This isn’t new but it should be news given GOP presidential primaries. Michelle Bachmann is being taken on by Zack Kopplin, a senior in high school. In addition he is attempting to overturn Jindahl signed legislation. I just wonder why the news doesn’t wave this at Bachmann. Maybe waving some underware with it would help.

jkkFl, this is a GREAT article. Read it, everyone. Bigger than the McCrystal article.

Too funny that they say “lie!” I know that there is not an alternative universe—at least not at this level. Truth, however, somewhere will be truth. The MSM can only market so much mistruths for the sake or ratings. The sand is running. (The Dems still need to stand up, aarrrgggghhh)

George is the only one to have gone gray with no thought; well maybe some. But apparently no guilt, no thought, just yes sirs, yes ma’m and Hi Laura. But Goerge never stopped a Great Recession, He never caught Osama bin Ladin.

Kesmarn- it’s delusional. If it was magical, it might somehow work. We know this won’t. I too easily can see the down, dark, sad, difficult side of life and try to “see the sunny side” when I can, but this is just awful. Just plain awful. The most vulnerable, the most weak and in pain.

I’m going to make myself happy by digging a special hole to hell for anyone who participates or approves through silence. (NOt quite “Arsenic and Old Lace”)
