The Republicans went through all of that trouble holding disaster relief funds hostage, making themselves look like assholes in the process, and now they have nothing to show for it thanks to Harry Reid’s persistence. Sadly, states like Ohio and Wisconsin can change their laws without any DoJ clearance. In addition in 2008 the SCOTUS ruled that they were photo ID’s were just dandy.
