That is a wonderful story TG. Absolutely beautiful and yes I do know what deeply tanned California Girl Scouts look like….they never had anything to do with me which made them intelligent as well.

That is a very touching story TG and shows what a difference a person can make in a child’s life. Mrs. Krauzer was a true gift.

Lisa you are too kind as usual. If you had been my troop leader I am sure you could have gotten the most out of me….of course I would have had to wait for you to be born first. You always see the good in people and most of all me. That is not lost on me darlin’.

Actually he did ask me what I wanted to do at one time and I said….”Let’s see what the Girl Scouts were doing.” It was purely for educational purposes. I had a deck of playing cards and I needed concrete proof. So there was always a need for Girl Scouts for me. Green is my favorite color.

Boys were stinky and dumb at that age and some of us only reek more the older we get.

But I promise you one thing. I have learned how to use a compass and know what the light in the Northeast means to me…. ; )

LMAO! Damn Orcas are you sure you weren’t in my troop! I did like the baked potatoes in tin foil on the hot coals. The simplest of foods and the pleasure of sitting around a campfire was where the magic resided my friend.

The beans were classic….LOL. Also my nudie deck of cards only numbered 42….there were some I just couldn’t share with my friends.

I think I may still have them in my wallet though.
