There are many people who do not understand poor. They have never been in a neighborhood that is really poor. They don’t see the encampments on the side of the freeway in Sacramento and other places. They just don’t see. I am not so sure most people see Mitt as fighting I see him as more the same old same old from the RW. I think most people see him as caving to the far right of the party. There is no moderate Mitt out there now. And people need to think about just who he will be beholden to if he wins and it is not the base of the party. This weekend in NY sealed the deal. Had he truly been middle of the road Mitt I think at this point he would have been ahead. In that sense I think he has blown it. The only way not is if this voter suppression really does work and that is no way to win. They will carry that baggage through his entire administration. I am deeply disturbed by what I see. I don’t want to see it but my mind is open and it cannot stop the pictures. Perhaps I was not paying attention and I take responsibility for that but I am now and I also take responsibility and will act on that.
