I do see her as a woman who has stood up for women’s rights but I also see her as someone who would bow to moneyed interests. The thought of a Bush being anywhere near the WH gives me nightmares. Jeb Bush is, I believe, the driving force behind the decimation of our public education. He is the perfect guy to work in the background with his destruction and maintain a public personna that is somewhat intelligent. His Mother knew who was the brighter of the two and it was not George. But I know he is working with the homeschooling faction of the religious right and to me, that would be a disaster for public education.
And Why Politicus never saw fit to return my email asking them why they censored it.

It might be in some history books, but those are history books, like Howard Zinn’s that will be deemed not “revisionist history enough”, to be correct: The damage they have already done to education is most likely hard to calculate at this point. I hope things turn around but some days it is hard to believe that they will.
