God’s Blog – Jesus and Subway Sandwiches

CL yes, I think you and she would get along just fine.

» Posted By SueInCa On November 14, 2013 @ 12:58 pm

Cl I think because my mom was a Christian, they thought she would slap some sense in to me, but she is the type of Christian who does not broadcast nor does she try to suck you in with false promises and fairytales.

You can bet they would not have even recognized the Man in those times, he would be a Libtard just like all of us. I get so sick of these people and their phony religion. People like Palin who claim that religious banner but go around making fun and/or being petty about what others, who are not like them, do. I will admit it is a life long thing with me, like fjb below, I started questioning Christian teachings at a very young age. I was the “problem child” in Sunday school.

With all the research and reporting I have done, I think it is safe to say I know what I am talking about with these hypocrites. Not saying I am the ultimate in knowledge, but I have seen enough to understand that people fall for religious fervor without really knowing what is going on in the background. For crying out loud, adopt a puppy if you crave that togetherness. To fall into the heresy some of these people tout is the worst thing you could do.

Adlib

I think the actor was talking about those specific people, or should I say the writer, when he wrote the script. I really try not to be down on organized religion but these people make it real hard.

Hi FJB you sound like me although I do believe there is a higher power and I guess I could call him God, I know he is not the same person portrayed in the story book that man has interpreted over and over. Like you, I had questions from an early age and I never accepted all the trappings of Christianity. If I am a good person and treat others the way I want to be treated, then I know I am doing the right thing. I was watching a show that I watch pretty regularly and one guy said:

“God did not even speak directly to the mother of his son and these people want us to believe he talks to them?”

That one short sentence pretty much says what I have always felt but did not know how to explain.

Oh my, God, you sure did deliver. This is just what I was hoping you would address. Every time I look at one of those goofballs, I ask myself the same question, If they read your book of stories, did they actually comprehend what you were trying to say? I think you are on the right page here, they have no effin clue what you are really all about and I can guarantee they will be shaking in their boots when you finally have that meeting with them. Good for you, I knew you understood more along my lines than any of them.

It has been a long time, God, please make another appearance sooner? I promise I will try to write something in the next few weeks about an artist from the mid century who I was lucky enough to meet his daughter in law. I promise.

Our Wonderful Media, Spinning Wins as Losses and Delusions As Facts

You are probably on the side of right here, I just worry too much but that is what moms do lol. I am not ready to back Hillary just yet, I want to see the field before I commit but I think you are right, without splitting their party down the middle Rethugs have no where to really go.

WHICH is why I do not even watch MSNBC anymore. I watched that idjit Chris Matthews for maybe 10 minutes yesterday and was contradicting him within seconds. The only way I see Christie as a problem is with uninformed Dems and Indies. I have seen many talk about what a great guy he is because they saw him during Sandy or he signed some bill that they personally agreed was a good bill.

Can you imagine that clown as President? Anger management classes would become a daily class at the White House. George Bush would be looked back on fondly. BUT it could happen because of the uninformed Dems and Indies. I am personally not putting all my eggs in the Hillary basket just yet, I am waiting to see who will primary with her because I see others who would be good. Sherrod of Ohio, Deval Patrick of Massachussetts, Gov O’Malley of Maryland, Elizabeth Warren of MA, Hillary seems to be the favorite of most Dems and I will support her if she wins the nomination but I would also hope she would put Warren or one of these other people on the ticket.

As far as the MSM goes, they want to see controversy so they gin it up. Where, along the way, these people sold their souls, I am not sure. Even Rachel Maddow is less than honest these days. I have watched a bit of AJA and RT News and see a bit of this same thing with them but not nearly as much. RT might be a bit biased against the US in particular but they do make me think and I like that. Our media is a sham and I don’t even think when I watch anymore, I just wonder how many lies they can possibly sell in the space of an hour.
Oh I forgot, Ted Strickland, I think he is from Ohio too. I like his fiery ways.

All Politics Really Are Local

Kes

Great article. I am going to post it on FB for my friends to read. It is verification that people are waking up and the Teabillies have reason to be mad. Their gig is almost up but it will take years to undo the horrible policies they embraced and a few more years and a few of their own to experience some of this negative behavior to really rid us of this cancer.

VOTE, VOTE VOTE. That is the way to speak your mind, that is the way to bring about change. And look beyond the outside to the inside and when you find the flaws, the lies, the deceit, spread the truth to the world. PP gives us that opportunity and while I am not here a great deal, I know it is always a place to come home to. Great piece, again. I have always considered you on the front lines in Ohio and if people there are waking up, the rest will as well. After all aren’t Ohioans in the Bellweather state?

The Weekend Music Thread-Be Your Own DJ

Kes I love that song. It is on the same level as another, You’ll never walk alone. I found this really cool rendition by Jerry and the Pacemakers, one of my most favorite groups from the British Invasion.

I love this song. When my grandson was about 3, he would make me play their greatest hits cd over and over in the car. He would get this real gentle voice and sing along although he knew only some of the words.

I didn’t test out as the Analyst for nothing. My boss used to say, uh oh here comes the Analyst, we have to be serious now. Sometimes it is not such a gift though.

I thought so but did he really call Michelle, sweetie? Wow he seems to reserved for that lol.

Mine are all Dems and on my side. We have never had a Republican rep in our district here since I was old enough to know. Miller, his father, Daniel Boatwright all dems. I have Mike Thompson who is also a dem now. Should he be primaried by a Republican which is unlikely, I would certainly not feel shy about showing up at his office in Vallejo and telling him. Hell I will even go with him when he plans to say it lol.
