I know that witch hunting happened for centuries but I am thinking of the 1600’s here. Women accused where examined by men in all the areas that they thought should be looked at that proved the charge. Most of the time they were just wanting to fondle the women. These supposely good, moral, and religious men knew what to look for and how to handle the situation. Kill them or humiliate them into submission.
