Us painting the walls didn’t take anything away except our weekends. Dad worked and mom stayed home. That was just part of it. Yes, the janitor polished the floors and empty the trash but if we dropped something in the hall, we had to pick it up. If caught, we got detention. (smart off to the teacher and the VP had a strap. In those days you could do that.) We certainly didn’t get paid money for doing it. We also painted walls and around windows. Everything caters to the 1%. I know flying First Class is wonderful and you should get more but raising costs for everyone else so you can cater to those few seats isn’t fair. First Class gets beds and Coach has to pay $5 for a pillow to rest. It use to be everybody atleast got a pillow! Now they take from the Coach to give more extras to First Class. Just like everything else. Plane travel looks like class travel on the Titanic. Big difference, First Class people, when a plane goes down, they don’t yell, “Women and children first!” At that point you are in the same position as coach.
