Here’s the video, Kes, of Hillary tonight at that fund raiser that cost $500 a person to attend. There was about a hundred people there. This young lady paid the $500 to be there and got escorted out. I wonder if she got a refund?

I agree with you, Monica, on both NYT’s and Hedge Fund Mgrs. Oh, and Hillary’s son-in-law, too.

I did it! Damn the old lady is alive! Both BERNIE and I are looking ahead. Iceberg!

And to think I use to add a hundred cartoons a week and I can’t even do one now!

I wish he had retired from the bench years ago. That is all I can say at this time. 😉

Thank you, Kilgore! I have thought of you often. I will check in more to see if I can find you here.

Miss you, Buddy!

Thank you for the good wishes, Aquarius! Really appreciate them. Hope all is going great for you!

I really am getting tired, Monica, of hearing that BERNIE dissed the President. He has not dissed the President by saying we have a long, long ways still to go. Yes things have improved but not so much for the young. My daughter has to work 2 jobs while living with us (and to care for me). My granddaughter has to work 3 jobs and is saddled with over $50,000 student loan debt. I have one grandson still in college and the bill is rising. My older grandson cannot find a job over minimum wage. Yes, it is still a long, long ways to go. And, the party better wake up that these young people coming out for Bernie are not party affiliated. The DNC/DWS need to wake up. If you don’t keep the party motivated, no one is going to show up with the beer!

Prayers are very much appreciated, Monica. I won’t overdo if I can do…..

Oh, how I miss my Funnies! And, if I made you laugh or smile, well, I miss that most of all!

Thank you so much, Kalima! I appreciate those thoughts and prayers! Have missed you, too. But, I wonder if you really miss my mess ups on here at those wee hours……….. 😉

Bernie is fighting against machines from all directions. He has some running scared because he is doing it without those PAC’s, big corporations, the banks, big pharma, Monsanto and lobbyist donors. And, with very little help from any of the establishment in our party. To me, he has already had an impact on politics as usual. The party better wake up to the fact that “the times they are a changing”.

When I went into the hospital in Sept I wore my Bernie T-Shirt. I had several people and nurses tell me they loved my shirt. (You know that Portland had one of the biggest rally for him. And, I was there!!)

Thank you, Nirek, for taking the time to comment. It was appreciated. Keep feeling the Bern. I am!

Monica, you are correct with your review. I have heard that same very much from my friends. You have to earn the vote. There are still a lot left behind and don’t like hearing that chipping away at it is the best approach. While others are scared that we shouldn’t be too bold to want more. That is not a reflection against President Obama and his accomplishments. He has got us further and done a great job. However, that boulder is not chipped down to gravel just yet. So, who has an ice pick or a bigger hammer or power drill? They are listening.

Thanks, Monica! I am working on it! But, I am keeping up the fight and hope to spend more time here soon. Appreciate the comment. I miss you, too.

Everyone needs a ballad. Especially the ducks! Now we are housing them, feeding them, and supplying them with legal counsel while in jail here in Portland. I hope the next stop will be the Federal Prison. We have one of those, too!

I was feeling the Bern before anyone else had matches, AdLib! Thank you for missing me. I certainly have missed you, too.

Pink, thank you. I am going to try to drop in more often. I hope your surgeries are going great for you. My next one should be easier……I hope!

I thought I would let all of you know that I am alive and feeling the Bern! I still have another surgery scheduled March 8th but it should go better than my last in Sept. It turned out more than expected and I spent nearly 3 weeks in the hospital. Took sometime to get up and going again but I did. So, before I go down again, I just wanted to say HELLO! And, I wanted to tell Nirek that I am still for BERNIE! All you that have been on here for awhile know I was for Bernie way before it was popular to be and way before he was running for president. And, I wanted to tell Kilgore that I have missed our late night conversation on here. I have missed you, Buddy! Kes, will you know where we stand….together! Glad that Adlib and Kalima have keep things going for all of you but I never doubted that they would. I have missed all of you very much!

So, they tried to appeal it 50 times because they wanted it over turned and thrown out. And now they are going to sue because it wasn’t fully implemented when they didn’t want it implement but now they are upset because it wasn’t all implemented……..someone is nuts, Sherlock, and it isn’t us!!!! Or, the President!

Nirek, I especially liked this one. Little guy was hot and needed to cool off! I can relate today as it is 95 here in Portland.

And, Murph, my caption was President Obama saying: “Governor, you really are going to run for President, again?” Key laughter. Prune face Governor.

Surprise, surprise! Nope, not really. We already knew this, didn’t we, Sherlock. So glad there are still investigative reporters out there digging.

Thanks for sharing, Sue!

You go girl, Patty Murray!

HOBBY LOBBY: Murray, Udall to Introduce Legislative Fix to Protect Women’s Health in Aftermath of Supreme Court Decision

Today, U.S. Senators Patty Murray (D-WA) and Mark Udall (D-CO) will introduce the Protect Women’s Health from Corporate Interference Act to restore the contraceptive coverage requirement guaranteed by the Affordable Care Act and protect coverage of other health services from employers who want to impose their beliefs on their employees by denying benefits. Representatives Diana DeGette (D-CO), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), and Louise Slaughter (D-NY) are introducing companion legislation in the House of Representatives.
“After five justices decided last week that an employer’s personal views can interfere with women’s access to essential health services, we in Congress need to act quickly to right this wrong,” said Senator Murray. “This bicameral legislation will ensure that no CEO or corporation can come between people and their guaranteed access to health care, period. I hope Republicans will join us to revoke this court-issued license to discriminate and return the right of Americans to make their own decisions, about their own health care and their own bodies.”

Thank you, Monica, for the nice thoughts. KT and I are as we say, Buddies! We go way back. Medical conditions make it hard to sleep at times. We are up late or early, depending on your direction.

We use to have KQ that would join us late at night. We had some good times. He lost his battle with his illness last year. I miss him.

As long as I am here, none of you are alone at night. Just give me a shout and I’ll be there! And, my Buddy knows that already. Just like I know I can count on him.

😼 Well, you need to have AdLib give you my email address and when you can’t shut down your brain, you can email me because I am probably still awake, too. We can keep each other off the streets!

» Posted By SallyT On July 9, 2014 @ 2:22 am

I can relate. I have several meds that affect me the same way.
