» Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 9:15 pm Thanx Truth! » Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 11:11 am You’ve seen more? Is Buddy holding private viewings in his atelier? Buuuuuuuddddyyyy!? » Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 10:42 am If I were told Oskär was painted by Hopper, I’d have believed it. Using light and room interiors, contours, edges were part of Hopper’s artistic lexicon. Buddy’s painting, most notably Oskär’s pose and affect, is very Hopper-esque and I hope Buddy takes that in the most positive sense! » Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 8:40 am As a Swede (through my mom)… you are absolved 🙂 Really nice painting! » Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 8:07 am Reminds me of Hopper. BTW, did you know in Swedish skär means “pink”? » Posted By Questinia On March 13, 2011 @ 7:24 am I agree with food chain, this could be a serial. It’s about time Pooh went sociopathic. Pooh and Rosie could be like “Bonnie and Clyde”, wreaking havoc all over Shibuya and the Chichibu. » Posted By Questinia On March 11, 2011 @ 8:40 pm On the other hand there are developers who have mixed low income and previously homeless people with wealthy people who pay top dollar to live with them. » Posted By Questinia On March 9, 2011 @ 12:54 am e~ Nothing. I just liked writing e~ 🙂 » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 9:11 pm Especially when laughing at oneself! Consequently, I never get panic attacks now. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 9:03 pm I had a panic attack and I managed to call my mentor/supervisor while I was in training. She said “Congratulations, you’re having a panic attack”. It subsided immediately. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:56 pm I call it the “alpha wave rinse”. Leaves the mind much more manageable. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:39 pm Sublimation is a good thing! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:33 pm e-cat, shall I send you my bill?! 🙂 » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:27 pm Suffering existentialist angst and being afraid of one’s own thoughts keep me in business, e-cat. Keep it coming!! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:26 pm Cher, let’s just leave it at that! 😆 » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:24 pm Cher, you were thinking about the time I dressed up like a hooker. Yada yada 🙂 » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:15 pm KT, I’m a psychiatrist but I also did an internship in internal medicine and needed to be board-certified in neurology as well. Consequently, I do work as a consultant in some clinical settings. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:14 pm Not Harvard, that was my BF. I’m from NY. I did training at St. Vincent’s. May she RIP. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:11 pm e~cat,
» Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 8:06 pm wts, 🙂 » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:58 pm People tend not to have panic attacks while they are in the process of something. The hormones of pregnancy, evolutionarily speaking, make the expectant mom not panic. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:56 pm k’es, not caring at work tends to contaminate the rest of one’s life. If you care at work, I think it’s easier to leave your work behind, so then you can care better for yourself at home. I never take my work home with me. If I do then I know it’s my issue with a particular type (see “toxic people” above) or the patient needs to be re-evaluated somehow. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:51 pm e~cat, DO NOT GET ME STARTED!! And… good going! Orthopods can be the worst. That you were “punished” as well is odious. See “toxic people” above. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:45 pm People who sharpen their issues on the grindstone that is you. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:40 pm You gotta make them laugh, Cher. I make it a point to crack people up. If that don’t work I try to crack myself up. Interestingly, many people don’t crack up until they see me crack up. Sometimes we double over. I said sometimes!! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:38 pm K’es, no. I think it’s more difficult not to care. That takes the real toll! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:33 pm Cher, if you weren’t having panic attacks after all that, I’d be more worried for you! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:30 pm They’re toxic to you cause they are toxic! Most toxic people, imo, are NOT in therapy. It’s generally the people in the toxic people’s lives who are. Otherwise, if in therapy, in the room they are not toxic but hurting and confused, scared, and ill-equipped. If they remain toxic and abusive (toward me) I “yell” at them. Either they leave or they stay. Ninety-nine percent stay and we get on great after that. I consider it a zen slap. But, they need to know they are sincerely cared for first. » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:28 pm Excellent point, Dr. Cher! » Posted By Questinia On March 7, 2011 @ 7:21 pmComments Posted By Questinia
