My daughter told me that at the end he was trending 2nd in the world. I don’t know if that puts him above Justin Beiber or not. I’ll have to look into this.

He has been rather respectful of President Obama,
but brutal to repubs in general.
He is 69.

Well I am with you Bito… I have always loved Bernie
I just wish some repub did.
I have a lot of respect for him following his convictions.
Do you think any faux news viewers are watching this and
thinking about what he is saying?
He has so many great points to make.
You don’t see any repubs willing to do this.
Those repubs don’t have anything to talk about except to say
~ I MUST OBEY MY MASTERS ~

Maybe this could help make this bill better?

Sue, I think we will all see in time that this was the only choice for the economy and the middle class. It stings now but I hope folks direct their energy in the RIGHT direction. Everyone who is pissed off right now should go out and get involved in voter registration and let up on Obama. I agree the dems in congress should toughen up.

I like how blackwaterdog put it on on his page tonight-

(Obama) refused to take a glorious defeat over a tough compromise that will actually help people.

The buzz should be about how horrible the repubs are,
not how Obama isn’t riding in on a white horse slaying the beast.

It’s like the repubs kidnapped your doggie

Sue, I can’t blame you for feeling crummy and bummed I feel like that too.
But I am thinking, let’s see how this helps the country and the economy.
I could care less if the rich had tax cuts all day long IF the Middle class was doing alright.
So let’s see if this helps the middle.
Corporations are sitting on piles of cash and now they will have to Man Up.
If they did not extend the Unemployment Insurance I was feeling like total doom was to descend on the country.
Oh Well, I trust that this President has more up his sleeve and this is not over.

I can see how this gives him some leverage on the repubs regarding the economy.
All they have been whining about is that these upper income folks are the job creators
and now they will have no excuse.
They have to get off there pile of $$$ they are sitting on and
“Make it work” for the country.

First of all,
the republicans FEEL NO SHAME!
They could care less if the walk in the room

all over their shoe.
They don’t care! There is no shaming them.
They are not embarrassed!

Obama has put the people most at risk, First.
Yes it’s a shame he had to include those who feel
no pain at all no matter what is happening in the economy.

Can anyone else see how this gives him leverage?
I hope people can start to look at the bigger picture.
