Its when the bankers and lawyers take these plants over and the engineers have to take a back seat, that is when things go downhill. They are going to run these things into the ground or until they bust.
The stress level for the folks inside just goes up and up. The country is full of aging plants and the cost to build new is out of this world so they are trying anything to keep the old plants going.
You can see why we are concerned about starting up a reactor with damaged steam generators.

We have families here in So Cal with American born Moms and Japanese Dads, that have evacuated from Japan in an effort to protect them from radiation.
So the families are separated.
This is so heartbreaking every way you look at it.
