Morning Blog 6th Anniverary Edition

My heart is heavy for Munich, Kalima. I lived in Munich from mid 1950 to mid 1954 while Dad was stationed there. This kind of thing is happening too often and anyplace in the world.

Peace

Kalima, my fear is that the republicans will get us into another ME war. We just never learn the lessons of history.

I know we have strategic air fields there and it will be harder to fly our “missions” but that may be a good thing.

Kes, you and I are on the same page. I fear copycats of this truck attack all over the world.

Kalima is right that some countries are numb to this kind of thing. Iraq and Syria and others have this kind of thing happen on a daily basis. I think “w”‘s invasion just made things much worse.

Good day Kalima, once again there is too much going on in the world to keep up with.

Long distance shooting of police is a cowardly act. So too is shooting a black man that you have on the ground and a black man in a car that you stopped for a broken tail light. Both caught on cell phone video.

Why do people have to be like that? If you don’t like someone don’t be where they are. Kinda simple as far as I’m concerned.

Thanks for all the reading material.

Peace

Kalima, it seems that no country is lacking cowards.

Hi Kalima, it seems that the USA is not the only place in the world that has problems.

What is wrong with the word “meltdown”? If a nuclear plant has a meltdown, it is wrong to misrepresent it as a lesser problem, imo.

So much to read, I’ll have to get back to you on the other stories from MB.

It is so nice to have MB to go to to catch up with all the rest of the world.

Peace, and stay cool and dry and healthy.

Kalima, it is hard for me to type with my arm in a sling. So I will say that I will read these stories but not comment on them. Stay cool. We have a heat wave here, too. 88 degrees yesterday and likely the same today.

Peace

Good morning Kalima.
I feel your pain from the conflict with the chair. But I feel it in my shoulder and upper arm.

The earth has shifted from the force of the earthquakes, WOW! That is a lot of force. Here in the USA “fracking” has caused hundreds of small quakes in places that have had few before.

By the way, I hope you are feeling better and I want you to know that MB is worth waiting for.
Peace and love

Bernie is going all the way to the convention with his causes. He will try to get his agenda built into the platform. The DNC et al have done all the dirty tricks they have in their book to defeat him. I believe that if they don’t adopt his agenda he might run as an Independent. That just might be the best thing that could happen, imo.

Good morning, Kalima.
I liked the story about Hillary being sick of Bernie Sanders campaign “lying” about her. Then reading down the story she takes money from lobbyists from the fossil fuel companies and he doesn’t. Bernie wants to cut emissions 40% by 2020 and she 30% by 2025. So how is Bernie lying?

PT is not making my shoulder any better. In fact I think it is worse. The insurance company dictates to the Dr. which makes the patient suffer. The system is broken when the Dr. can’t do what he wants for his patient.

Kalima, I sure don’t want Trump to have control of the nuclear button. His people he has chosen to advise him don’t impress me either.

In fact the only candidate I trust with the button is Bernie Sanders. Bernie, unlike Trump and Clnton would not send people off to a war for the profit of a few corporations. Actually, Bernie would use every possible way to avoid war.

I believe that Clinton and Trump are too easilly talked into using force before diplomacy.

That is why I like President Obama. He has achieved a lot through diplomacy. Cuba, Iran, and China all come to mind.

Peace is the goal of both PBO and Bernie. That works for me.

Thanks, Kalima.

Thanks, Monica.

» Posted By Nirek On March 19, 2016 @ 4:13 am

Thanks Kes.
Because of insurance the Dr. has to try PT first, then if that doesn’t work an MRI and then surgery. Next apt. 3 weeks. Oh well.

Good morning, Kalima.
Shutting down 40 year old nuclear plants is a good idea. The whole world should have learned a lesson from Japan’s experience. We got Vermont Yankee shut down. But the parent company that owns VY is cutting corners. Entergy (the owner) is trying to take short cuts and to under fund the dismantling of the plant. The State so far has not allowed them to do their tricks.

Bernie has still got half the country to vote so of course he isn’t going to give up. The “news media” and the DNC are doing their part to force Hillary on us. Enough said.

The pictures are as always great.

Today I go to the Dr. to see when my shoulder surgery will be. I fell on some ice 3 weeks ago and tore ligimates and tendons.

As always be safe and peace to you and yours.

Good morning, Kalima.

It does seem like just a few months ago that Japan suffered that disaster. Hard to believe it was 5 years ago. I am greatful that you are still here with us. Japan is so resiliant. The people I met when on R&R in 1969 were wonderful. Treating me very respectfully when I visited Yokohama made my stay as good as it could be. They sure have had a lot of suffering since WWII.

I have to go to the Dr. apt with my wife this morning. Will come back to read and comment on the other stories.
Peace.

Thank you, PPO. It is so nice to have friends like you and all the others here.

Good morning Kalima,I understand the way you feel about your cats. I love all animals but cats are the best.

My wife is having a hard time with her health and I thought I was going to lose her two nights ago. She rallied yesterday and seems well this morning. Always touch and go here.

Politics here in America keeps my interest. As for me, I am working to get Bernie Sanders elected. I believe his agenda is the best in my lifetime. Why do people vote against their own best interests?

I have not had a lot of sleep the past week so am kinda tired and have trouble reading, but will return to check out the stories you posted.

As always peace and love

Kalima, I am so sorry for your loss.
It is hard to have such a thing happen, our furry friends give unconditional love. Grieve for the loss and come beck when you are ready. We will be here.

Good morning Kalima, I see on the news this morning a volcano in Southern Japan erupting. The video is impressive. They said that two of the nuclear plants are only thirty miles away. TEPCO said they are not in danger.

It seems like Mother Nature is angry with volcanos, earthquakes, climate change, drouts, floods, forest fires, and so many other terrible things happening all around the world. We people should take heed. I believe that we should end pollution.

Peace to you and yours.

Good morning Kalima!
I hope there is no damage from the quake. When we have a quake here in Vermmont it is just a little rattling with no real harm.

Bernie did well in the debate in my opinion. Just making the point that when you take money fom BIG banks and other BIG corporations they expect some consideration in return.
Bernie has gotten over 3 million donations from real people.

I’ll be back later to read more.
Peace and love equal happiness.

Good morning, Kalima.
Another fine batch of news stories to read.
I tend to stick to stories from America for comment.
I was happy to see the 17 things that Bernie believes. I think he may be the best politician in my lifetime! I agree with him on all issues.

Between Trump and Palin we are going to be entertained for a while. They are both crude and can’t possibly get elected.

Thanks for all this reading material. It will last me a while as I come back to read different stories when I get time.

As always peace and love.

I told you it was worth the wait, Kalima.

From all the stories around the world, I guess America is not the only place with problems.

President Obama will be held in great esteem in history, much the opposit of “Dubya”.

Bernie Sanders is under attack from HRC and company, but it only increases the doner base for his campaign. Sending her daughter out to lie about Bernie seems to me like a low blow.

What can anyone say about the lies we hear from all the republican candidates? Do they really believe that we are that stupid that we believe them?

Again, I’ll be back to read more of the stories. It takes me a while and several looks to get through all.

Peace and love from this Planeteer.

It is worth the wait, so no worries.

Hi Kalima, North Korea is worrisome at the least. With a “leader” like Kim Jung Un just out of control and not taking care of his peeople. I can’t understand how the people can servive?
Wouldn’t you think they would revolt?

» Posted By Nirek On January 6, 2016 @ 3:27 am

Good morning, Kalima.
I think back to 9-11 and the majority of people who hyjacked those planes were Saudis. Saudi Arabia has the 2rd or 4th largest military. Now they are doing this. I have to wonder if they don’t have visions of expanding their kingdom?

I believe we should stay out of the ME and let they sort out their differences.

Happy New Year, Kalima.
May you always live peacefully with love and joy. You deserve to be treated as a queen all the time.
Peace plus love equals happiness.
