Here’s my “d” for “and,” oops.

In a round about way, ask them to meet you on a dead thread no longer monitored, that’s what we used to do by the end of last year when things were really bad with trolls an mods.

I’m sorry, I’ve been away from London far too long, that was Portobello Rd. Now I’m homesick!!

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 9:00 pm

I can see him. Love Bob Marley. Used to live 5 minutes from Portobella Rd and buy all the latest albums from the street vendors.

Those were fun days!!

Nice to have you aboard. The Gravatar thingy will be as easy as pie once you register there. Good luck!

Welcome to The Planet Sue, rest assured there will be no trolls coming through our door or staying long enough to post anything outrageous.

We have a few good troll sniffers here. 🙂

Yes 😆 I have to be honest, we were and are just only a wee click to her while she sits in her ivory penthouse, counts her pennies like Scrooge and cackles in her mirror.

You’ll get over it. *sniff*

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 8:09 pm

😆 The Queen of the tabloid blogs doesn’t give a flying f@@k about any of us, she’s busy counting the clicks. Every time you log on and go to a story there, it’s money in the bank for her, her advertisers and the merry band of hedge fund members she sold out to. If you want to make her richer, then by all means keep on clicking on.

She looks into her magic mirror every morning and chants “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the biggest hypocritical bitch of them all.”

You won’t miss much by staying away, I didn’t.

Hi my name is Kalima. I was a HuffPo addict for almost 2 years from June 07 to April 09. I don’t even live in your country so I’m a constant time zone offender, staying awake hours after my bedtime, going to bed angry and gnashing my teeth, thinking of a perfect response to a dumb troll while on the brink of sleep but nodding off before I could respond and forgetting it by the next morning.

Then the evil moderation started, my innocent comments went pending or into the “black hole” of the “More comments here” abyss. By the time any of my comments were released or often held captive, my friends had moved on to another thread. In the end there was no conversation, I was talking to myself.

Shaking and trembling, a tear in my left eye, I packed up my pride, integrity, conscience and my ambition to change the world, one small step at a time and limped my way out of there, a wounded soul in search of a place to call home.

It took a few months to shake off the last of the HuffPo claws embedded in my back, but now I’m cured and never want to stray again.

Conjecture, Unsubstantiated Info…Where Should the Line Be Drawn?

The demise of investigative reporting unless it’s hanging in a tree outside some celebs house all night peeing in a jar, is very sad. Has someone got their balls in a vise??

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 6:18 pm

Most MSM with the exception of KO and Rachel, remind me of the party game, where 20 0r more people have to whisper into the ear of the next person in line what they heard from the person to their right or left and the last person has to say it out loud to everyone there. It was always hilarious because it was just a game. Reporting downright untruths as facts for millions of viewers or readers is not a game and can at times be dangerous. Anyone who does this should be shamed into admitting that in fact it is just an unconfirmed rumour and proved wrong on the internet or articles. Oh silly me, Faux news? has no shame.

SickJo

😆 I feel quite ill, I must be coming down with a nasty Lieberman.

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 5:08 am

If he had one more “n” at the end of his name, he would be Liebermann, translated from German that would be “Nice guy” Lieber Mann and that would be such a shame because we all know it’s not true. 🙂

Q, you forgot a piping hot plate full of “Sloppy Joe.”

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 7:11 pm

Here comes the violin solo, wait for it.

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 7:08 pm

😆 I bet! Couldn’t they just have booked a room for this display of ad nauseam?

Lieberman looks like one of the Marx brothers, was it Curly?

As I just said on another post, if Joe was ever really an Independent, my name shall be Elvis and I’ll eat my hat, yours too.

That photo just made me throw up a little, it is so sickening.

I See A Lot of Familiar “Faces”

Welcome!

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 8:50 pm

A blinding headache, a stiff jaw and shoulders I would think. 🙂

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 8:48 pm

You wait for a confirmation email and upload your photo, crop it if you want and soon it should show up here. If you can’t see it after about 15 minutes, clear your cache.

» Posted By Kalima On October 28, 2009 @ 8:44 pm

We are happy that you are all happy. 😆

I’m happy to say that Huffington/Puffington doesn’t interest me anymore, I stopped posting in April and my “addiction” was cured after a whole bunch of us decided we had had enough. It took a few months to get the bitter taste out of my mouth.

Anyone dumb enough to defend a silly goose like Palin, either needs to go back to school, move to Alaska or have their head examined. Admitting that she has any merit, should be a life long embarrassment for anyone with an IQ higher than their waist size.

She boasted that she was working for Hillary’s campaign, no one believed a word. I’m surprised she is still there strutting her stuff, she wasn’t well liked last year exactly for this know-it-all attitude.

I agree that there have been and still are some very confused and lonely people there. I used to step away from my computer, make some tea, feed the cats and often found she was gone when I returned. Poor “Eleanor Rigby.”

Ann from CA is just a PUMA wannabe, she appeared during the Primaries saying she was for Hillary and lashed out at Obama at every opportunity. Hillary lost, Ann is still there for the sole purpose of stirring it up. I doubt very much if she’s even a Dem, ignore her if you can, she seems to have a screw loose.

“The Empire Strikes Back” on Public Option

Well done KQ. 🙂

Just wait until the screamers, especially the ignorant “teabaggers” get really sick, they will change their tune soon enough.

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 7:23 pm

Yes, pro-life, ironic isn’t it?

I had to read this email twice to believe it. Not only do they steal your money, they want to steal a woman’s womb too.

Joe Lieberman needs to be sent into space, a one way ticket. What a hypocritical slob and shit for brains too. Disgusting piece of work. If he is truly an Independent, my name is Elvis.

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 6:28 pm

KQ, a while back I signed an online condolence book that you had sent as a link to me. Now and again I receive an email from SEIU. This morning’s was extremely disturbing and in case you haven’t seen it, I wanted to share it with you to further expose the “monster” insurance company thieves. I am appalled!!

“Have you heard of Peggy Robertson? After having her second child, her insurance company required that she get sterilized if she wanted to receive health insurance. Peggy fought back, and testifed before Sen. Barbara Mikulski’s committee hearing this month on how insurance companies discriminate against women.1

Members of Congress heard about it. The media reported on it. But we wondered, do our friends, family and neighbors realize how insurance companies have turned being a woman into a pre-existing condition?

Take your ticket for gender equity. Get in line here: seiu.org/ticket

Women want equal coverage for the equal premiums they pay – plain and simple. Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) is leading the charge, but we’ve got to get the word out. We built a tool to do just that – to demonstrate that any bill passed by Congress needs to end gender discrimination by insurers.”

The Other Murdoch

I think that it was Hume who once told me about their ridiculous demerit system, something stupid about the number of times you were scrubbed I think. See how ridiculous that is, as if we had any control over the troll infestation inside the moderators “high horse” box. Stalin would have been proud.

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 10:14 pm

I thought it was close to that.
Femi had just fanned me and I her, when she was suddenly banned and our conversation was scrubbed. There was nothing to warrant any banning.

On the same page, a racist had just called Obama this “N” word. I checked for days, the racist comment stayed put. That was what made up my mind to stop posting, I felt sick to my core.

» Posted By Kalima On October 27, 2009 @ 9:45 pm

Just for the record, I went to HP to check how many of my fan base is MIA, in April when I stopped posting there it stood at 78, today it is 64.

Someone has been busy.
