THIT!

Sounds just like the Bush administration to me, plus the abuse of executive power of course.

You had 8 years of living under a “Dickytator.”

Yep but I just couldn’t type anything vile all day long without smacking myself hard across the face every time. it’s the only face I have, so I’ll pass.

😆 Did you ever find your nephew again?

Pepe: Do you remember the infamous “Operation Chaos” last year during the primaries, it was exactly the same thing then, one troll even admitted that he was being payed for every comment he wrote.

Obama Rejects All Plans Proffered.

I’m rather pleased that he has taken a stand on this and respect his demands for a clear exit strategy to give both the troops a moral boost and the people of Afghanistan a hope that they will get their country back, bad government or not, this is a tribal thing played out over decades. The Russians couldn’t make a dent with all their tanks and weapons and I think that it should be resolved by the sides sitting down to talk, all sides, so no one is left out. We should be helping them rebuild once they settle their infighting and with their history, who knows when that would be, maybe never and the troops just keep on dying.

HuffNo Friday

Well then, I suppose I’ll have to forgive you for my stiff neck.

If this was a reply to me, I had to look up for a change.

Veterans Day the hard way

Woo Woo Conspiracies and a the Real Conspiracy

Oh javez that is so strange and scary for me who has never lived in a country where the citizens were allowed to own guns never mind carry them.

I personally am against guns in any shape or form and feel blessed that I live in a country where I don’t have to worry about gun violence although to be fair, there are cases of mentally disturbed people who rampage with knives and kill people once in a while. That is another pet peeve of mine, the attitude in Japan and most of Asia about mental health issues and the shame families feel about a family member having mental health issues. In Japan many families would rather suffer domestic violence from their children than seek professional help. It is still taboo for many in Asian society and once help is sought and a treatment has begun, the patients are released too soon, most reoffend within a few months.

Personal responsibility: The moral argument against compassion

Wonderful article nellie and even though it’s still early morning here, I have enough brain cells awake to thoroughly agree with your points.

The endless accusations about people choosing their own fate when they suddenly find themselves unemployed or blaming the people who for one reason or another found themselves unable to leave NO before Katrina struck is shameful and was a constant mantra for the RW trolls at the faux progressive site we all know. Every time I read one of these rants, I would reply but eventually realized that it was a waste of time, they had been indoctrinated by the RW machine like obedient little cultists, nothing would get through that fog in front of their eyes.

Thank you nellie for putting it in perspective, I enjoyed my early morning read.

TO ALL MEMBERS: NEW PLANET FEATURES!!!

Not if you hear it every day. 🙁

I must dash, have a Skype video call with my father in less than 10 minutes.

Take care, have a good day and hope to catch you later.

I wouldn’t make a cold noodle sandwich for my worst enemy but we do eat cold noodles on ice in the summer, with a dipping sauce. I prefer to eat it at home because 40 people making loud slurping noises in a restaurant, is not my idea of a night out on the town.

No I was pulling his leg, the one with bells on. 😆

» Posted By Kalima On November 11, 2009 @ 11:37 pm

I should think that with all the new members, the server outage last Friday and your own private life and work, you had more than enough on your plate. Did you remember to eat?

I could rustle you up a nice cold noodle sandwich?

We are moving to a dedicated server maybe as soon as this weekend, when everything is in place, there will be necessary changes made.

The video that you are referring to is one made by Adlib and posted on youtube, if you would like to offer a replacement, please feel free to do so. We welcome new ideas here.

I think it is the same as the time appearing on our comments, PST.

Truth and Consequences

Oh, before I forget, I just wanted to share this bit of trivia with you.

When I joined Huffy in June 07, the comments were all numbered. It was still a lot of fun then and we would write things like,”Come in # 31, I totally disagree with your comment.” Well I told you it was trivia.

They do the same with BBC’s “Have Your Say” but you can’t directly reply to anyone, have a limit of 500 characters and your comments can stay in moderation for 2 days sometimes during which time I would forget what I had written. 🙂

Thanks FM, I eventually found it and I believe that AdLib is busy tweaking behind the curtain as we speak.

Cheers AdLib and a goodnight to you and everyone else too. See you in my morning and take care.

That is interesting. I moved to England aged 9 and it was back and forth to Germany until I was 13. Encountered a lot of prejudice/xenophobia as a kid, not a pleasant memory.

You might be able to pick it up in no time again if you spoke it as a small child.

Ok, bad eyes, I see that we have the new feature of older comments now. Flap off, I can sleep peacefully now, sorry.

Good morning nellie and nicole.

I was just going to call it a night but came one more time. I can only see 2 comments for this post and was wondering where the other 54 comments are hiding. My IPod has the same results, the comments are in the sidebar but when I click on them, they don’t show up.

Is anyone having the same problem?

» Posted By Kalima On November 10, 2009 @ 6:53 am

Well I might be the last woman standing so I’ll see you all later or in my morning.

Goodnight. Gute Nacht. Oyasumi nasai.

We have all reached that point of no return and I didn’t go back.

I have a theory that the mods are giving each other Brazilian bikini waxes but with tweezers instead, they always seem to be in such lousy moods.

My friend read a few threads I had included as links and had come to the conclusion that apart from a few posters, the majority there were just too ignorant about world matters to even think about, this was 07 and last year during the primaries too, it was a hell hole there last year.

She’s stilled pissed off from the contradiction David Plouffe supplied about her silly article on Obama the candidate and Obama the President. He took her down quite a few pegs, she is still smarting from that one, I swear I can still hear her screams once in awhile.
