Actually Q they are not moldy just fermented and you could never say anything to me that I would perceive as harsh, not from another OG. 🙂

Oh nellie that sounds great, thank you, I will certainly try that. I can watch what he eats at home until he goes upstairs, there he has a hidden stash of rice cakes he will eat after a filling meal. I think that it’s more a bad habit than actual hunger but resent his doctor thinking that my cooking is the problem, it’s not.

He’s very fit and is at his gym now, he is not overweight but both his father and older brother were and are diabetics, I hope that he can avoid this.

LOL, too sticky and too stinky too. People would leave and complain I’m sure. Many Japanese, especially the younger ones, don’t eat it, they think that I’m nuts, they might be right. I eat it every morning, it makes me bounce.

Try the real Japanese ones and take a picture of yourself as you chew them, not the latest Vogue cover, I can assure you but great in summer for balancing the salt loss due to the sauna like weather.

Sorry to hear that FM, can’t be pleasant.

I’ve always been more sour than sweet. My grandmother caught me several times when I was a little nipper, drinking vinegar from the bottle, my mother was the same.

Hubby has a sweet tooth but his cholesterol was higher during his last head to toe check up. I’m running out of places to hide the chocolate clients always give him this time of the year. It’s a work in progress, he always finds them.

Gosh FM, I wish that I could join you in giving my favourite recipe for a sumptuous dessert but I hardly ever eat them and certainly not when I’m eating out, prefer a glass of Amaretto instead. I might eat a piece of dark, bitter chocolate once in a while, that is is hubby hasn’t found it and scoffed the lot.

Now if you were talking about pickles and sour things, I’m all ears.

We May Be Out of Afghanistan By 2017

I agree and it has made me fight back often, only to be told that the President is just a “brand” and that nothing will ever change. I asked them why they didn’t change sides, after all the RW really doesn’t want change so if they don’t believe in Obama, what’s the difference?

In government we will never have exactly what we want, in our lives it is the same. I prefer to have an honest leader who really does have the best interests of the people at heart because he was one of them, rather than some spoiled rich kid who doesn’t even care about the constitution and had Daddy bribe his way through the education system.

How quickly people forget how it was for 8 years, how sad that they only think about their own needs.

Exactly nellie, it was my pet peeve with progressives at Huff and then the other place we were. I remember his plea as if it was yesterday, he said, “I need your help, I can’t do this alone. Everyone will have to be prepared to sacrifice a little to make make this change happen.”

I was so touched by the strength of those simple words, I remember the crowds cheering and now they want everything at once and as you say sit on the arses while complaining as much as the RW, sometimes it’s hard to fathom who the trolls are these days when you have a progressive calling the President “a dickless wonder” on another site.

Shut up or put up, the President wasn’t the only one to make promises that day, at least he has kept many in his short term so far.

What I find disgusting is the way the Bush gang ignored Afghanistan after they invaded Iraq, that and the promised aid funds from around the world, which in most cases was just an empty promise at the time.

I doubt that any of you are afraid of SP, it’s a notion as ridiculous as Becky for VP, or in fact Ms. Mooseburger ever getting a chance or a nod to run as any sort of candidate for any government position again. Look what she just did in Alaska, couldn’t even complete her term and then couldn’t keep her cheap mouth shut about the press picking on her. If she got anywhere near the 2012 election basement bargain trail the Repugs are going to run, I can imagine a real revolution happening in America and not the imaginary kind Becky of the Vicks Vapour Rub hypes on his shows when his insanity allows him to keep ranting about things he knows nothing about like a lunatic.

The only person who should be afraid of SP, is SP, because she never knows what lies or utter nonsense will pop out of that mouth of hers.

I would imagine that the infighting between the remaining 19% ters, their constant chants of NO without offering any viable alternatives and their lack of anything remotely resembling common sense or compassion for the American people and their right to healthcare, should be enough to push them off any cliff and carry them out to the ocean never to be seen again for decades to come.

I find that everyone just returns to their own agenda eventually and tend to vote for their Senators or their representatives purely for their own special interests or causes. In itself it’s not a bad thing but when it excludes what is going to help the rest of the population, like with the HCB, I find it appalling, selfish and very small minded.

So they will vote for some one who has a similar fixation on one or two of the issues they care about, then what, what about the other issues, what about the other citizens?

I’m sorry but I rarely have the patience for foot stomping and door slamming, it is hardly bearable in a small child, never mind witnessing it in a functioning adult.

President Obama hasn’t been in office a year yet, maybe Bush needs to come back to power, to remind everyone how it was.

I get so tired of people threatening not to vote and when they don’t, still complain about nothing ever changing in this world of ours. What would happen if all of us took the huff about every single issue out there?

I thought a real democracy meant full participation and making our voices heard above the din until we are finally heard and not just collecting our toys and going home out of spite because we couldn’t get our own way on everything.
