Morning Blog – 1-7-10

Good morning everyone, hope that all is well?

24 hours in Pictures. I love #3.

Michael Steele said what?
The man should really learn to keep his mouth shut, even his own party would prefer that I think.

Porridge anyone?
The first time I ever ate porridge was when I was 9 and had just moved to England for the first time. I remember holding my nose as I spooned it into my mouth and can honestly say that I never quite got used to it during my early school years there. Now looking at the picture and reading the recipe, I wouldn’t mind giving it another try.

LOL! In a former life, someone pushed me over the edge of a cliff. I dream about it often and wonder if it was something that I said.

Sorry I can’t join you for the opening. 🙂

You are very welcome wts.

As long as I can see it from the ground I’m safe. I suffer with vertigo, so even standing on a chair to change a lightbulb is a great adventure for me, requiring a “Mary Poppins” umbrella.

Good morning everyone, did you sleep well?

I’ve always had a fascination with old ruins and archeology. A Slovenian friend of mine studied archeology after an accident cut short her dancing aspirations as a ballerina. Gosh how I envied her and Harrison Ford for a time. Just found this interesting story and started my endless daydreaming all over again.

Well try as I might, I can’t keep my eyes open. I hope that you all have a fulfilling day ahead and wish you a good night from Tokyo.

Take care and be safe!

Good morning nellie!

Hubby just came back from work and I shared the Beatty story, he wanted to know if he kept a list of his lovers, if he did, what a jerk.

Like you, I don’t understand the appeal either, I’ve never liked the “pretty boy” look.

Good morning everyone, we are back!

Just found this tidbit and almost slid off my sofa. Good Lord, it’s a wonder that it didn’t fall off!

On a more believable note, 24 hours in pictures.

Good morning everyone. I hope that your new year started well and that everyone is fine?

I’m investigating the disappearance of the “Morning Blog.” Now working hat in hand with Inspector Clouseau, I’ll let you know when we have a break in the case.

In the meantime here are some pictures that I hope you will enjoy. I’m off to try to catch up on some much needed sleep. Take care and see you later.

Arlen Specter: GOP Already Thinking Ahead to 2012

Thank you, don’t worry, we are fine and like the full moon will rise again.

Well said wts, for me China needs to be held responsible for it’s actions, this afraid business bothers me, it should bother everyone.

5,6 days ago, I’m fine.

We had $6000 stolen from our hallway, how unsafe can you be?

They stole money, my cash card, my bank book, had to stop everything. Next year will be better I’m sure.

» Posted By Kalima On December 29, 2009 @ 3:24 am

Yes I did but I drank a lot of water that these people don’t have, I’m lucky.

boomer I’m ok, just something I needed to do this. I’m fine now, eat very little anyway.

For me friends and love is more important than food, silly I know.

» Posted By Kalima On December 29, 2009 @ 3:04 am

Funny, I was going to write something about it, didn’t happen. Thinking about world hunger, I decided to try it, no food for a week, it was awful.

See you soon.

» Posted By Kalima On December 29, 2009 @ 2:55 am

And WHO is is this person to announce it, you think he’s ok?

Specter, who?

Then I read a story that makes makes me awfully sad.

A bit of perspective to help ring in the new year

Story great, kids look the happiest I’ve seen in a long time. Who are we and what do we need?

A New Year

Great to see you too javaz, have you seen bito?

Simple is best. 🙂

» Posted By Kalima On December 27, 2009 @ 4:21 pm

Wonderful post javaz, I’m happy that my hubby is healthy, my family and friends love me and that my cats are awfully naughty.

I stopped with new year’s resolutions in my 30’s, couldn’t keep one if I tried, not important anyway. I just try to be good and give love back when it’s offered, sometimes when it’s not, life goes on.

My letter to the FDA today

My mother died of cancer aged 49, I guess I am.

Gosh Emerald, no smoking at a dinner table, always ask, if one person says no, I go outside.

» Posted By Kalima On December 27, 2009 @ 4:57 pm

Pepe, I smoke like a chimney, don’t inhale, my chest ex-ray this year was clear, how strange. I’ve been smoking since I was 15.
