If you know anything about birth control you would know that one size doesn’t fit all, and that some can have side effects for some women too, so they should have the choice of being able to use what suits them to protect their future health. As for your suggestion that women stop having intercourse with their husbands or partners until they can afford the birth control they need, I laughed out loud because I wonder just how much you know about men. How long for, a year, two years, a lifetime? Those women are already making important choices, they need birth control to avoid unwanted pregnancies, and it’s a very wise choice. What is costlier, access to birth control or paying for children in the system because the parents couldn’t afford to keep them or take care of them and no one wants to adopt them? Yes, we really do disagree, and I believe with this exchange, we have covered everything there is to cover now. What about those who have no support when one or both parents lose their jobs and health insurance, and they already have enough children to support as it is? What do they do when it’s a choice between having a roof over their heads or just about managing one meal a day for their children? How can these women ensure that they will have no more children who will suffer the same way if they can’t afford the birth control that suits them? I see that you must have missed what the President campaigned on and spoke about in his victory speech because he certainly did want healthcare for all until the House exploded in opposition. Why did they oppose? Because they didn’t want their buddies and campaign contributors, the profiteering and overcharging insurance companies to lose a penny of their stolen profits, not because of any fiscal responsibility they felt. Had they worried at all about the deficit, they wouldn’t have allowed the Bush admin to borrow so much money for two wars. So the President’s main concern was not just about cost cutting, he wanted those 40 million or close to 50 million Americans to have access to healthcare. If freedom of religion can dictate to the State, then what is the use of having written the 1st Amendment in the first place? Laws are put into place for every citizen in every country around the world to follow. Putting religion before the laws of the land is wrong, and against the very Constitution the Republicans claim that the President has broken. Bush wiped his behind on your Constitution, where were the lovers of it then? I see this as yet another attack against the President along with the ludicrous cries of impeachment and wanting to sue him for abuse of EO. Dealing with a Congress grown lazy and indifferent or full of hate so that they don’t bother to do the work they were elected to do for the people, Obama using EO is wrong? How?
