But we really shouldn’t let them forget about TARP; you’re right about that. I do remember Bush and Paulson pushing this thing. And there’s video footage of John Boehner literally crying and begging Congress to vote for it. Rachel Maddow included that piece of film in a segment about Boehner. You can skip forward to 8:25 to see him crying over TARP. Rachel follows that tape with several others that show him speaking against the bailout, as though he was never for it.
