She could be considered either #1 or #5

#1-She is unprincipled, deceitful and definately an unreliable person

#5-She is an organism that has definately shows an undesirable variation from a standard human….

WTF – this is unbelievable, goes to show you that we have two sets of rules in this country, one for them, the repugs and one for the rest of us.

Thanks javaz for the info, will be back later to discuss…diner arrived…pizza!!!

Morning everyone, eagerly awaiting the “Storm of the Century, Albert”, I shall call it ‘Bertie’. All the crazies were out yesterday, apparently bread and milk is a storm staple, I prefer cookies and cakes, but hey, to each his own.

Very cold here in south western CT, no wind on the coast today, which has been plaguing us all week. Dropping the temps to single digits when the wind chill is factored in, making it a tough go when walking the dogs.

There is nothing more beautiful than watching a snow storm, or any storm for that matter, when you live on the water….Mother Nature reminding us all that she is one not to be controlled or coddled.

Hope all are well today here on the Planet, will be making a big pot of stew, fill the fireplace with logs and get the snow shovels out….looking forward to a night of snow and the silence that it brings.

Goodnight Kalima, sleep well…nice song.

Scheh, you are so on the money, no pun intended, that it’s not funny.

Our hands are tied here in CT, and his behaviour, like over the HC bill, will continue until 2012 unfortunately. He has us all by the short and curlies, and there is not a damn thing any of us or Reid can do.

Senator Aetna and his beloved wife will continue to line their pockets with the money that the Health Insurance companies and Military Contractors give them, so that they can retire in comfort at the taxpayers expense.

He knows that he is not welcome here in CT, so I see him retiring somewhere else…Florida is also not a good option for him either, too many senior citizens will be screwed by him also.

Joe is for Joe, and he will do anything to get press coverage, positive or negative…the man thrive on attention, as Sheherazade’s sock puppet video shows.

And, he’s just a stupid little putz….

Morning Kalima, how are you and your furry troupe doing?

Hope the noise of the past weeks construction is not upsetting them anymore.

We had a water main break just down the street, close enough for the boys to watch out the window. They were none to happy about it, how dare strangers invade their territory and make outrageous noises….was so glad that they quickly fixed the problem and moved on.

They are exhausted from standing guard at the window for 24 hrs….

Cold here 25 degrees, but the wind chill makes it about 7 degrees…No you are on the mark with GI Joe there, we here in CT would like to recall him, but our State Constitution does not allow it…so we are sorry that this man walks the earth and is such a bother to everyone.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 18, 2009 @ 6:16 am

Morning…welcome Scheherazade, nice picture, how’s everyone on this very fine day….but very cold one here in CT.

Morning ladies…hope all are doing well today.

javaz, {{hugs}} from a cold and blustery CT, thinking about you kid…

LOL…Soon, some will call us a “Cult”!

Morning Sue, I almost ordered that book from B&N, now I will definitely pick it up, just this morning got a 25% off coupon, thanks.

Like you and kesmarn, the Christ that I believe in is a kind and gentle loving soul, who only wants the best for us. But also understands the trials and tribulations that we go through every day…I believe that he was given to us to show us how to cope with these trials in a practical way that does not harm ourselves or others.

How these fundies have bastardized the meaning of the writings in the bible and his words, is beyond comprehension sometimes…I was lucky in some ways, I had a Mother that reinforced the good, not the fire and brimstone.

Have you ever read Jeff Sherlot’s book “The Family”, that will knock your socks off…makes you wonder what these so called Christians have in mind for the rest of us, and there is a lot more than they would like, that do not believe what they believe.

Will this jacket have glitter on it? I like blue, it makes my eyes stand out…Will it fall above or below this hips, will it cover my butt…I like things that cover my butt.

LOL!!!!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 10, 2009 @ 9:40 am

If the real Christ, the one that you and I know, walked the earth today these faux Christians would not recognize him….and he would weep for what these idiots have done to this world and how they have twisted his beliefs to fit their warped minds.

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 10, 2009 @ 9:33 am

LOL…you are so on the mark with that statement!

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 10, 2009 @ 8:17 am

Bernard, I would like to believe that there are no cliques here…you are just a part of this band of merry followers of truth as the oldest member here.

Remember cliques are for High Schoolers and HP, and I don’t think any of us here are of that age group and hopefully have moved mentally and emotionally away from that type of behavior.

Oh sweetheart, my heart cries for you, remember we are here for you, whenever you need to talk….Monk and e’cat have my e-mail address if you need to dump on someone, I’m here for you.

I have known the numbness that you are feeling, and yes, some of this “stuff” is trivial, but please don’t let that stop you from posting your great articles and stories in the future when you feel you are ready to.

I wish that there was something that I could do or say to you to make you feel better, but I know that is not the case….{{hugs}}

» Posted By BigDogMom On December 9, 2009 @ 1:39 pm

Oh javaz I’m so sorry for your loss, {{hugs}}, please accept my heartfelt condolences…please don’t beat yourself up, I’m sure he felt your love and acceptance, but may have been too proud to tell you.

Having lost both our parents and a grandmother in such a short time span, my sisters and I now realize that life and our relationships are too precious to harbor any ill will towards each other.

We disagree as families do, especially sisters such as us with diverse interests and strong personalities, but we make it a point now to profess are love of each other, no matter what, even if one of us is really being a dork.

My Mother always said, friends come and go, but family is forever.

Morning Kalima,

Hope all is well with you, it’s 5:49am EST, very early for me, couldn’t sleep. We’re up for another big wind storm tonight….wonder what Mo has to say about that and his global warming theories, so need to batten down the hatches this afternoon!

Love the pictures, I didn’t know that German stores are not open on Sunday, gee, I thought everyone in the world were rabid consumers like us here in the USA and needed to have the comfort of knowing that your favorite stores are open 24/7!

Did you see the one on the Chinese govt. funded bar for Gays, I wonder how that would go over here, now that would put the rights knickers in a twist!

Unbelievable, paying people to stand in line for you, just as shallow and self righteous has her…

If interviewed they would probably say, “oh, yes we stood in line for hours!”

We need a good scandal with her involved to get the truth out, but she seems to made of teflon of late, it’s just a matter of time.

Look at Huckleberry there, nothing was sticking to him and now his hopes may have been dashed….there is always hope, good will always prevail.

Morning javaz, one of the posters on HP yesterday afternoon said the same thing, sheesh is right.

She, my nemesis, AnnofCA, says that she is an everyday person, how can these people that follow her be so willfully ignorant. They want to see things that are not there.

Did you see anything on the letter that a 95yr old WWII vet wrote to Obama, but conveniently sent to Sister Sarah, who so diligently put on her Facebook page for the world to see?

It has caused quite a stir over at HP, because the writer, a Harold Ensign, I think that’s his name, called Obama “son” in the letter and went on to bash just about everything Obama has done.

I went to the website that had a copy of the letter, far too well written for a Sarah follower, apparently he dictated it to someone because he’s too frail. The other oddity, it list his home in Pearl Harbor, HI, but letter originated/mailed from somewhere in Florida, what the?

Clearly something is not right with this letter, but the followers are defending it to the death! Just another day in the saga of Sister Sarah!

You just answered my other post below, thanks for “talking me down”!

Now, how as a nation can we change this, because if we don’t start to ask for something different, we’re going to keep getting the same old shit?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 30, 2009 @ 9:38 am

My question is, how do they get away with statements like this? Why is this OK with the MSM and the American people?

They are like one of my “eccentric” cousins who for the 13th time has tried to commit suicide, an we all just kinda of brush it off as the norm…have we become that numb as a nation?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 30, 2009 @ 9:36 am

The thing that gets me the most is that they get the best and most positive coverage from the MSM and they are the minority. What’s wrong with this picture? Has this world all gone mad?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 30, 2009 @ 9:26 am

Yeah, I was just reading that this morning, sadly for the GOP, wars have always been more important than the welfare of the American people.

Now all of sudden, after 8 long years, Afghanistan is the most important thing in the world…one way to divert us from health care. So if their for it, must be that Obama is against it. Don’t the GOP realize that 80% of Americans are against escalation?

Gee I wonder what Miss Lindsey would like us to cut in order to pay for this?

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 30, 2009 @ 9:23 am

This is from the WaPo this morning, the GOP seem to be divided on several issues, all of which you have listed, nothing new from them.

Thank God there are only 20% of this country that are calling themselves Republican, let’s hope that this number is correct come 2010 election day. They have done enough damage to this country.

» Posted By BigDogMom On November 30, 2009 @ 8:44 am

Oh God, won’t she just go away! LOL…

But I do believe that she’s going to make a mistake somewhere between now and 2012, I’m taking bets, my money is on her screwing up.

Did you see the new Vanity Fair, Rush Limbaugh is considered the most important face and influential voice of the GOP…gasp, choke, chest pains…uuuggghhhh!!!!
