I just remember watching her posts and thinking to myself, something is just not right…one day when I had the time, I went in and read a good number of her posts. There was a clear pattern of baiting going on, definately she was steering of the conversation and was quite good at manipulating her following and an entire thread. I noticed it happening for the last six to eights months there, a pattern of deletions/pending to manipulate the conversation, keep it social, keep it moving. I noticed it happening only to the long time posters who had thoughtful insightful post, very much like yours, posts that were information based. At the time I thought it was due to HP wanting the clicks/traffic from the Liberal vs. Rightwingers wars. My Cousin, a retired AF General, used to be a big AF mucky-muck and flew for years with NATO, we talk at least once a month. He always reminds me, that what we hear and see in the news, is not really what goes on, it is filtered. It is a lot more complicated, there are many gray areas and there are a lot of unseen forces that keep us doing certain things, certain ways. I believe that Obama may have been a little niave when he stepped into the oval office that first day, thinking that he could change the culture of how things are done in DC overnight. The Pentagon being the most entrenched in their culture and where many of the useen forces are at work…ie, Blackwater being a big one. Someone over yonder once posted something along the lines of, “If Obama were to change things too quickly, I forsee another…Grassy Knoll situation.” That always stuck with me, not one for conspiracy theories, but it stuck with me…because there may be an inkling of truth to it.
