I sure hope so,for all of our sakes.But especially for you,my American friends.Make no mistake.Trump has exposed the ugly underbelly of the angry.But I don’t think it will carry him through.I can’t wait for his final defeat.What an ugly person he is.In the end,it is GOOD for sensible people from both sides.
One more point: A President no matter the scope of his victory,is duty bound to represent ALL Americans,even the wrong ones. That is what I believe Barack Obama tried to do.You are a split country,more or less.I know the tendency with the victorious party is to take it as a mandate to do their will.The R’s are learning the hard way what happens when you let the wing-nuts rule.
IF you could do the simple thing,as many Countries have,GET MONEY OUT OF THE PROCESS!!
Can America do it? If the progs win 2 of the branches,Presidency and Senate,the rest,like Scotus will be where you need it.The R’s will have to moderate their racist shit. Just my hopes…..:-) for us all
