Good morning, Kalima! WHAT??? Wallpaper works BETTER than paint? I challenge that! I live in hot and humid weather. I can testify that paint is better than paper down here. AND I am an excellent painter (shades of Rainman). We painted all the downstairs and non-ceiling areas in our new home, and they are fine. Hmmmm. I’d follow the money there. Something tells me there is a wallpaper cabal in Tokyo.

Want me to load up my Purdy paint brushes, my rollers and pans, and come over to help? I’ll be right there. Give me driving directions, though, as I don’t fly!

Today is big decision day for last Afghan boy. Keep your fingers crossed. will let you know in email. Also have new photos of kitteh love to share. -AB

Thanks, K! Just drove the 5 minutes or so from my house to a big hill at Trinity University and watched competing firework displays, one at the military base behind my home and the other from downtown. It is just sweet to see people all pulled over in their cars in the No Parking lanes, climbing rock walls, and oohing and aahing the fireworks! Old and young, black brown and white – all just having fun. And it’s free. Gotta love it.

I love aquamarines and all the others listed. My little friend Clara called her little Chihuahua “Pink Jewel”, and when a few years younger, she would scream “Jewery! I wuv Jewery!” Such a doll……

Sorry about that Revolution thing. However, living in Texas, I think it might just be time for another to shake the Cruz off of us. Ya think? – AB

Whew, Frennie! We lubs you too! And I’ve been working hard (occasionally) in keeping the tiara for you. I could not get the last one (box? press? head?) and I had to watch KT and make sure the one he won (early work day) was for YOU, Frennie! He was more than happy to do so.

I guess VOX is out for a few weeks, as laughter is probably not great either. Small steps, baby steps – and soon you will be running and playing.

Sorry to hear about dilaudid. Geez. I’m allergic to opiates, which positively ruined my career as a drug addict. And now dilaudid?? Don’t know what it is, but I’ll avoid it if possible.

Oh Frennie! You are the Mr. Blackwell of the Planet!! Lovely image – tiara, yoga pants and flip flops. What I’m almost wearing now…….(I’m barefoot….)

Got the car yesterday – busy today learning all the new buttons. Going to take the Pup to Carcass Crispy (Corpus Christi on the coast) to see his “Aunt Patty” and to eat some great food next weekend. He will celebrate his one year of asylum and now be a permanent resident!!!! Also, Nick, my boy still in AFG, got red-carded (meaning approved) for his visa and I hope to have him back in August. Now I just need ONE more really great thing…..good things ALSO come in threes, doncha know!!

Happy M-Day to you prematurely, mom o’math whiz kid!!! Hope to catch up tomorrow….

Kalima: Good luck with the move. We will miss you – and I am just now getting back to PPOV after a work induced hiatus – but I think I speak for everyone in saying: we totally understand.

Take care of yourself – let the guys do all the heavy lifting. It is why the Blov thinks he is still around after all these years with me. It’s the ONE thing I just can’t do by myself! I actually don’t do that much lifting anymore period.

We will miss you, and it will make our MB that much sweeter on return. In deference to the move, I will NOT have my coffee in my beloved pink MB mug(s) until it returns. And you KNOW how much I love those mugs! I had to buy a second because a friend would get up earlier than me to grab the one I had every time she stayed over. Solved that problem. – AB

Kalima! I am so, so sorry. How old was he, and what name? I’m familiar with some of your “tribes” by now. Maybe he just decided to move, with all the hubbub with the new house. Let’s hope so. To some place kind, warm and nurturing.

“BetoMaru” was at it again this afternoon. We got back from our walk, and let him out to the front porch. There is a walkway, and he thinks he is just too good for everything; he eats grass, pukes it up, gets stuck (because he is panson) in the fence railing (he forgets which section is “plus sized”, and generally cracks us up. We’ll make a film soon and send it to you.

Off to read my MB at 6PM. Sigh. At least it is here for me to read….-AB

Lessee…..there’s the Red Sea, and ………….I think cerulean is a color, but not Caspian……..I’m stuck. Only one that I can think of. but there are the Green Mts. and the White Mts. in the NE of the US – that I now know!
