Indeed. Any time he agreed with one of my comments, I felt I had really accomplished something.

The man could be so smug sometimes though! But it became an endearing quality because, Hell, he was usually 100% correct.

I don’t think they appreciate the community they have.

Remember when Hume passed away?

The man was responsible for bringing more traffic to that site than anyone else. Many.many people missed him. Entire threads were just memorials to Hume.

A group of posters had to beg HP for days on end to acknowledge it. They finally did. I though it was the least they could do for their most popular,prolific, and loyal member.

Yeah,i was trying to comment on a post about the Muslim Brotherhood

But I couldn’t get my post to stay because I was using the words “Muslim Brotherhood” so I just said “Fuck it”and quit.

I was barely commenting there anymore anyways. It was days in between my comments.

My problem was simple.

They promoted the “community policing itself”

But then set about over policing the website. I’m not a paid pundit on TV.

I talk like real adults do in real life. But ,again, I can’t really complain. You people were there. You saw my posts.

If you wanted an abusive, semi-literate, off topic comment, I was your man. But I would get posts removed for doing this:

“J.o.h.n. M.c.C.a.i.n.” They said I was deliberately attempting to conceal my post.

My reply would have been “NO SHIT LADY! YOU WON’T LET ME USE THE MAN’S GODDAMN NAME WITHOUT YOUR FUCKING ALARMS GOING OFF!”

And that’s why I never talked to “Stephanie”.

I like that you can see links to the last dozen or so posts made on any topic and go straight to them. Such a simple idea that proves very useful.

Beyond Up and Down

The problem is with the word “fact”. There is empirical fact,and then there is everything else.

What I mean is that there are things that are true when held up to any scrutiny and there are things that have only a surface truth. When you dig deeper you discover that the “truth” was merely a carefully fabricated deception.

There are very few issues in our country fitting the former description. Every issue is staged. Presented with a slant either left or right. There is no center. The imaginary “middle” is populated by non-voters and idiots.

Everyone has a preset bias whether they acknowledge it or not. A logical idiosyncrasy that politicians have learned to exploit. So speeches, news casts, blog sites, set themselves up to tune into those idiosyncrasies in a subtle way.

There is no moving “beyond left and right”. You can try. Good luck to ya.
