We tirelessly work to spread the news that cookies are fucking awesome! 🙂 » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 4:51 pm It does sound good. And a lot of people don’t realize that part of the French revolution was a big uproar about a cake depicting the crown prince defecating on a picture of Robespierre. And THAT was the cake she was referring to. » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 4:35 pm Keep in mind that this movie was made in India where they have completely different laws of physics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK85ypvAiWg&NR=1 There is more awesome packed into this tiny clip than most movies have in their entirety. GOD bless you Bollywood. » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 4:28 pm AB – No, we have the big puffy chef hats. And Lady Antoinette was a founding member! 🙂 » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 3:46 pm College volleyball is one of those sports where I’ll stop on it because the first thing that catches my eye is a bunch of ladies in really short shorts. But a few minutes later I’m screaming at the TV: “You gotta dig those out and spike it right back in their faces! We need this point! That net is yours! FUCKING OWN IT!” And I don’t even support either team! I just REALLY get into sports. » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 3:22 pm So I was watching the Women’s world Cup. Yeah, that’s right. I’m not a big fan of soccer but I do enjoy sports at the highest level, regardless. I was watching for the soccer but, I was constantly thinking to myself, “That chic is hot!” So, my question is: Is that wrong? I greatly appreciated and applauded the skill these women were exhibiting, but I couldn’t get past the natural urge to fawn over them. Female athletes do risque photo shoots all the time(a lot of male athletes too! if that’s possible). And when they re-enter the field of play, I still can’t get past how attractive they may be. I don’t think I’m objectifying them or dismissing their talent. I just really like women! So, ladies, am I wrong? Should I have more respect? Or am I not being disrespectful at all? » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 2:50 pm That’s pretty awesome AB. You really need to take the movement back! I found out, not too long back, that I was a member in good standing of the Society of Funny Cakes. “Wherever a party or celebration is missing a humorous cake, we’ll be there.” » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 2:40 pm I tend to agree, Khirad. I’ve always thought local news was just a nightly police blotter. Without fucked up things happening, they’re worthless. » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 2:36 pm I think maybe he was a little serious. I certainly agree, in principle, with everything he said. Steal as much property as you possibly can. » Posted By ADONAI On July 8, 2011 @ 2:34 pm I’ve never said, “I totally agree with Kid Rock!” But then he did this:
» Posted By ADONAI On July 7, 2011 @ 6:01 pm Khirad, Were you thinking something like this as far as making up the news? Mr. Show – Channel Six “On the Spot News”

Well that seems like the easiest way to go about it. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 9:36 pm Seriously. It’s a country “founded on the principles of freedom” And it’s been 200 plus years of ongoing civil rights legislation! WTF?! » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 8:03 pm Well this all depends on what the cuts are. They didn’t get into too much detail in the article. There is wasted spending in Medicare. There;s wasted spending in every government program. Cut that then bring in new revenue and Medicare should get a nice little boost. But, since it’s Republicans wanting the cuts, I’m gonna assume they’re for things people actually need and don’t really cost us that much in the long run. If he accepts that then i gotta really question his “new direction” regarding domestic policy. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 7:55 pm Cher, I think the President will always do what is best for everyone. If going to the 14th amendment is the last resort to avoid defaulting, I think he’ll do it. But right now I think he’s interested in getting a deal done. He wants a democratic decision. Not an executive power play. I believe it’s just politics. I don’t think he’ll leave us hanging. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 6:43 pm HA! Thanks bito. Very interesting stuff. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 6:36 pm You know you’ve went too far as a shitty trash newspaper when most of England is mad at you. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 6:15 pm Cosmic Journeys, Episode 16: Mars: World That Never Was https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgMXPXdqJn8&feature=BFa&list=SL&index=16 What’s up with Mars? It should be chugging along just like us, but it isn’t. Mars is dead. But it was once alive. What happened? And what can we learn about Earth from studying Mars’ fate? » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 6:10 pm Indeed tex. That is probably for the best. Trial is just an option. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 3:09 pm Willie Geist: Apology Chaperone http://www.hulu.com/watch/255270/the-daily-show-with-jon-stewart-willie-geist-apology-chaperone Don’t know how many of you saw this on the Daily Show the other day But it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 3:08 pm I understand your point tex. TV cameras are a whole different thing from written press. But a public trial is just that, public. I still get that the whole TV presentation just changes things. I believe judges can decide to close off a public trial but they gotta meet some pretty strict requirements. But, as long as the jury is sequestered, the justice system still moves like it should. I’m sure lawyers wanna act it up for the cameras, but nobody cares if you lose. And, winning cases like this is how lawyers make their names and their paychecks. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 2:58 pm I’d still rather watch Hardball with Bito Bachmann stumbles over her own words often. I wonder if she reads what she’s gonna say before going on air, then has no ability to improvise when things go “off script”. » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 2:20 pm 7 Pieces of Good News Nobody Is Reporting http://www.cracked.com/article_19317_7-pieces-good-news-nobody-reporting.html » Posted By ADONAI On July 6, 2011 @ 1:59 pm » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 10:15 pm Indeed. They know the country isn’t just gonna shut down if we default, but they also know bad things WILL happen. And they laugh about it. Try to score political points. ‘Cause the country will go on. The world will go on. CNN will still be on the air spouting horseshit. But many, many people will lose their jobs. Inflation will cut huge chunks out of the middle class. More and more people will live day to day. And I know from experience , that’s no way to live. But life will go on. Things will change, some things will remain the same. The world will work it’s way back out of the rut. We will carry the people who dug this ditch out of it, and not get a single “thank you” for it. And the world will go on. The politicians will start their next fight. The TV will dig into it’s latest controversy. And, eventually, no one will remember what all the fuss was all about. » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 2:13 pm I agree Cher. It’s the same stuff he’s been doing for more than a month now. He definitely looks like the rational one, and I think most people agree with you, but this seems to be going nowhere. » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 2:06 pm So, 2 months ago, not raising the debt ceiling would mean the end of the civilized world. Now it would just be a bit of an inconvenience? Please Mr. TV Person. I need some continuity here. It’s hard to buy your doomsday spiel when you and your guests are chuckling about it every 30 seconds. » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 1:48 pm Thanks Cher! Already got my TV resting on CNN. Hopefully it’s an enlightening press conference. » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 1:39 pm You go on being as serious as you need to be bito. 🙂 You remind me of my favorite neighbor ever. Loved that guy. Strict, but a cool motherfucker(high praise from me). I will argue your point on wars though. No military, no wars. The President is Commander in Chief of ALL of our armed forces. He says the word, they’re back home. No one can stop him. Let Congress and their contractors fight. They’re the ones profiting from it. » Posted By ADONAI On July 5, 2011 @ 12:18 pmComments Posted By ADONAI
